[Rewarded Review] DOA

Tried using this for the first time to make chili. Worked for about 3 hours, then made a loud cracking pop sound. Then around 4 hours in the panel lights started flashing and it stopped heating. Unplugging, resetting, nothing helped reset it and then it went totally dead.

Buy A Better One

It cooks food. That's all the good I can say about this unit. When I bought it, I thought I was buying a quality appliance from a well-known brand. The main problem is that the digital display went out. The unit still heats up, but you can't set the timer to know how long it's going. Of course the unit is just outside the pathetic 1-year warranty. I am good at fixing things, so I looked to see if I could buy a replacement part. Nope. Nobody sells the internal parts, and it took Crock-Pot a week to reply to my inquiry. The Black & Decker slow cookers have a 2-year warranty, so I'll probably go that route. Also, the handles on this unit are really small, and they get really hot. You will have to have a towel or something to protect your hands. I regret buying this unit. Our last one we had with just a dial timer lasted for years, until we upgraded to a larger unit. It's a shame you can't get products that last any more.

I love my Crockpot slow cooker. It’s a lifesaver when I work long days and I get home late and dinner is all ready for me to eat. I’ve brought it on family vacations to make overnight breakfasts for a crowd, and every winter I make hot spiced cider in it. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store.

My favorite crockpot ❤️ so easy to clean, and very durable! The temperature control is amazing! I can make so much food so quickly! I love having it just so I can make a variety of different foods!

Crock pot is a must have item for busy moms. Whenever I’m busy with my kids schedule and work, this is my go to. It’s very large and can easily be used for holidays when having people over or a potluck. It’s dishwasher safe so that even cleaning is a breeze. I had my last one for about 5 years before the insert broke but that was mostly my handling of it. The only thing I can complain about is the initial smell of something burning when you first use it.

I love using my crockpot every week for making quick meals to feed the family, especially on our lawn, busy nights of work and sports and activities. It is a lifesaver. It works perfectly and I absolutely love the design.

Don't buy this crockpot! I have bought this crockpot three times. Each time the crock/insert cracked. I kept purchasing it because I really like it. But, it's time to move to another brand. Crockpot asked me for information and pictures, but has not responded.

I love my Crock Pot. It’s one of those kitchen appliances that pays for itself and you’re just happy to have. I can put a roast in there or some chicken and just forget about it. Until I smell the savory scent of yummy goodness fill our home and I know it’s almost time to enjoy! I love throwing some beans in there pre soaked with lots of seasoning and bay leaves. Then coming back to taste it after some hours have passed. This one is 7 quarts so it’s quite large and can got plenty of food. The temperature is controlled by the knob on the front with four settings; low, warm, hot and off. The glass top fits snugly in place. The outside can get pretty hot to touch but that’s why you should keep it far away from any edges or other appliances. I love how sturdy every aspect of it is. I also love how durable and sturdy the glass “bowl” is. Easy to clean and store when not in use. Overall, a great buy!

[Rewarded Review] Do not buy!

I received this as a gift and 5 months later it stopped working. Wouldn’t heat up anymore. Submitted a ticket online but never received word back. Called the number provided but it wasn’t the right number. All so frustrating. Do not buy. They don’t make these like they used to. Have had the last one for 7+ years.

I love my family’s Crock-Pot! It is so convenient to use and we have made so many yummy dishes with it. It’s lasted us years and years, with no troubles. The Crock-Pot is easy to clean and store.

I love my crockpot it’s a staple for the colder months. It’s perfect for soup or chili or really anything you can think! It’s also very easy to clean. Plus it’s easy to use

Crockpot name brand is THE ONLY way to go. I have this one and then I have a smaller one. Very convenient, safe, energy efficient. I just baked a ham in mine last week and it was Amazing!

Still using mine from college! There is so much you can do with the crockpot and it’s such a time saver. It’s best to set it up for longer, this is not a quick process. Throw the meal in before you leave for work and dinner is ready for you when you return home!

this unit sucks

had this for a couple years now and it gets so hot you cant even touch the handles also so hot it blistered my counter top. all settings-high, low and keep warm are all the same extremly hot and over cook the meal.

This thing has outlived my expectations. I use it for beans, stews and corned beef. It gets the job done every time. It's reliable and the programmable settings are simple so they're easy to use. Good investment.

This is a lifesaver! It is one of the easiest ways to cook, fun meals for your family and friends, while being able to lead a normal life. Love that you can just toss food in and walk away from it. It’s got great temperature settings so you can choose the amount of time you want to use. Ours has lasted us for years and I will definitely get a new one when it is time to be replaced

Love crock-pot cooker! I was able to make hot chocolate for Christmas dinner. I also made Tri tip steak over low cook. The food came out delicious and it was ready when I got home from work. It is worth the price! Very convenient and easy to use!

Cooking time

I just received this for Christmas, my old one was not heating properly, but had it for a good 25 years. I really wanted a new Crockpot but digital, I love the brand, the problem I find with this one is the lid doesn’t fit tight like my old one and the time goes faster than it should when cooking on low I can set it for 6 hours at noon and by 5 it’s on the warming setting not sure why it does this. I have cooked several meals since I got it and every time I use it it counts down faster than the time should

Digital settings are off

I love the timer and the idea of a digital crock pot. My old one lasted 22 years! However, the digital settings are off. Warm appears to be high, etc. Haven’t had this one very long and settings were off since I first used it.
