Decent Humidifier

I do like the humidifier. It is easy to use and operate. Easy to clean. I did not give 5 stars because:

I love this humidifier. You can set it to the desired humidity and it will stop when it hits it or you can do automatic and it will set it to 50% humidity and stop until it’s needed again.

No Filter? White Dust Galore from the Ceiling to the Floor.

No filter, w/ filter, distilled water, all leave WHITE DUST.

I don't know if you have ever had a humidifier like the Pure Guardian if you haven't I strongly recommend this one. The extension arm is amazing, the air mist circulates though out the room easily and the technology is really easy to comprehend, even for a senior like me. Super efficient.

Leaking

I brought this a couple years ago but only used it a few times since I only use it when I have a cold . plugged it up today and to my surprise my chair and carpet was soaked where the humidifier was.

After years of traditional humidifiers, this is our first ultrasonic humidifier and the difference is impressive. The pipes to add for the mist to be directed to various heights, the choice between cool and heated water, and the adjustable volume/speed of humidification are great features. The humidistat is accurate to within 3-4%. The machine is very quiet, which was an essential feature for using it overnight in the bedroom. The only thing close to a con with the machine is that the brightness of the icon for volume speed of humidification grows brighter with the higher rate/speed. Even on the lowest rate/speed it strikes us a bit bright, so we turn the machine toward the wall so the light doesn't shine toward the bed.

Way too bright

Light is too bright with no option to shut it off, how did they not include an off button for the light?? Will be returning as soon as something new arrives and covering the light with duct tape. Huge bummer

It is very useful , and my family loved it

Not conducive for sleep

It works well, but the light is incredibly bright even when you don’t have the nightlight feature enabled. It also beeps quite loudly when you adjust the settings, so it’s really not ideal for night time use. I like the periscope feature so you can have it on the floor, and it’s relatively easy to refill.

I have had this thing on every day and it has not changed the humidity in the room whatsoever. Plus the tank of water is so small you have to refill it more than once a day. Part of this is my fault because I didn’t know anything about humidifiers and I bought it because one of the reviewers said raves about it being so great for her parrots. I don’t know how small her room was or if mind is just defective but it’s so disappointing. I will most likely end up getting another one from a different website. There are way better ones that are way cheaper elsewhere. Wayfair is awesome, but it definitely seems like there might be some resellers on here jacking up the prices on a lot of items.

I'm very unsatisfied with the one I received.

Not that warm but

I like that there are two attachments to the unit so you have the option of being able to raise/aim the steam at different settings. What I don’t like is that the compartment that holds the water doesn’t have a locking mechanism so if you have to move the humidifier or when you have to replenish the compartment water sitting in the unit itself can spill out. When it’s full and on the lowest dispersing setting it does last quite some time and automatically shuts off. Wish that the warm setting would be actually be warmer. Don’t really feel a difference from cool mist to warm mist. I do feel a difference when using the humidifier the next morning. Wish that there was a setting to turn off the screen/lights when it is on bc it is very bright even when the night light is shut off.
