This was the perfect playground for our daughter. We have another on the way 🤰🏻as well. We wanted something big enough multiple kids could play on at the same time. We also bought an infant swing which will be a great addition for our son. One of my favorite things was the picnic table that came with it! Loved it! Highly recommend!

Great features and good for slightly older kids

We bought this for our 5 yr old grandchild's house. Most sets like this are for smaller kids (2-4 year olds) but this one fits a tall 5-6 year old nicely and will still be fun for a few more years. The climbing areas are fun and high enough to be exciting. The "fort" area is roomy and the roof is tall. The open space under the set is great, as well. It's like a little house all on its own and the swing that goes under there is very calming. Our grandchild likes to spend some quiet time there, reading a book. And with it being so wide open, it's easy to cut the grass! It did take 3 of us four days to assemble (in very hot sunny weather!)

Perfect size for our yard and kids!

We purchased this swings about a month and a half ago, and it has been exactly what we were looking for. My oldest is almost nine, and then I have a 5-year-old and a baby, and it's just the right size for all of them to be able to enjoy it in some way. The table is such a fun bonus -- they love having their lunch out there!

Great for the entire family!

I bought this last month for my kids (6 years old and 2.5 years old) and they LOVE IT! While some of the features are a little more advanced - but definitely feasible - for the two-year-old, we chose the structure because they could grow into it and our six-year-old loves to climb. Staining it took a little bit of time before building it, but it wasn’t hard at all. Putting it together is time-consuming, but incredibly simple when you follow the instructions (my husband and I leveled the ground by hand and put it together in a day with multiple breaks and interruptions from the kids. The only feature I’m disappointed by is that the circular hammock swing that hangs under the main structure has very sharp nylon tied knots that hold it together around the entire frame and has cut me and my kids a number of times already while swinging or pushing each other (hence, reason for 4 stars). I’m going to look for either a cover for the outside or a different swing to install there. Otherwise, we have absolutely no complaints. It is a great structure to have for the kids, and we have already spent countless hours on it as a family! I was pushing my kids on the swings the other day and my husband, who was working from home that day, brought his computer out and worked the last hour in the “club house” area so we could all hang together. The weight limits are high enough that we can all be on there and have no concerns about structural integrity, and there are enough fun aspects that my kids are always finding new ways to entertain themselves (and each other). Definitely recommend it!

Better than expected and for older kids

It took us forever to review the market, brands and prices. Super happy with this purchase. Quality: amazing wood, easy install (my husband and my father installed it within three days working few hours a day with a joy). It looks expensive and is very sturdy. The only few things I would suggest to consider: the slide gets hot fast - the set must be placed in a shade. The slide is quite bumpy and more vertical than horizontal- fun for older kids (from 4yo). The product comes with a warning: it is for kids from 3yo, so be prepared to be there and supervise your kids in case you have two toddlers. In just few days 3yo was able to climb all sides - if he continues he’ll be physically quite advanced. Definitely recommend this set, yet encourage adult supervision for smaller kids. great job

Very happy with the purchase. The assembly was very easy , all the parts and hardware was labeled and the directions were spot on and easy to follow. All the pieces lined up perfect. Don’t think I ever bought something that had instructions that good. This is a very heavy duty play set that will last a long time. I’m going to seal it also as they recommend. I will buy again from Backyard Discovery.

We just put this swing set together and love it! The BILT app is so helpful rather than using the paper directions. Our swing set was delivered without the slide and I contacted the company and they were able to either find it or get me a new one within only a few days. Highly recommend!

Great purchase

I’m the type of guy that is very ocd and usually just builds my own stuff so I know it’s done right, well let me tell ya this set is a pretty sturdy design with some quality cedar lumber! Took me about 9 hours to complete by myself pretty simple! I’d highly recommend this set to anyone that wants there children to grow up without having to upgrade to heavier duty set!

Great playset for my 4 year old

I really am impressed with the paper instructions as well as the BILT app. All the pieces were very well organized and labeled in the boxes . The packing list was also great to have so you knew what box to look in for the piece needed. This was actually enjoyable putting together. Now I will say there are tons of pieces and feels overwhelming at first, but once the frame of the fort was put together, it really moved along . I did sections at a time as I only had an hour or 2 to spend on it each day. I would estimate that it took me 10 hours total . Two people is ideal, And necessary for attaching the swing beam and fort frame.

Excellent backyard swing set!!!

We purchased and assembled over a weekend. It took 2 people about a day and a half to assemble. If you follow the instructions, it should be no problem. Sort everything ahead of time and pre-read and read the directions. Very easy to follow step by step setup. The grandkids love it!

Not all that I expected

the swing set came missing a lot of the hardware needed for assembly and the tree house part of the set will not hold an adult without making you think the floorboards are going to break , except for the board that goes across the support board in the middle. So we will see how long it holds up to children .

My kid’s imagination station

My husband and I bought this playset a month ago. It arrived on time with all of the pieces, hardware, and instructions. All of the pieces were predrilled and the instructions were very clear. This helped with a clear understanding of how to assemble the playset. It took my husband, myself, and my father approximately 3 days to assemble. This could have been done sooner than three days, but we also have two little kids and life. My husband calls this the, “IKEA of playset.” All of the pieces have to be assembled but the instructions are very clear, however it just takes time. The only qualm is that the wood is cedar, which does help in the long run with wood rotting, but it is very soft wood. This is helpful with lifting and no pieces being super heavy, but don’t accidentally run your lawn mower into it. Lol

Fantastic set at a great value!

I bought this set for my 2-year-old daughter, who is more into physical play rather than imaginative. This set has the perfect number of obstacles to make it fun, and they are challenging enough that she'll have years to grow into it and not get bored! The set is very well designed and Backyard Discovery's customer service is second-to-none. There was an issue with my local carrier in delivering the set to my address, but Backyard Discovery was incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed to get the set delivered in time. Assembly took two, capable adult men 6 hours to assemble. Nothing about assembly was difficult, there are just a lot of pieces so you can't really fly through it. I do highly recommend taking the time to sort the lumber (alphabetically and numerically) and the hardware (just numerically) the day before assembly. And don't assemble on a super windy day, it'll blow your bags of hardware around! We sealed ours with MinWax Helmsman Spar Urethane and it looks gorgeous.

[Rewarded Review] I expected better!

I bought this set Spring of 2023 and although it's only November, there are several things that are already showing wear. Some of the boards have cracked where the screws went in, a board has separated (like it was pressed wood and the top layer is peeling away), the black on the roof is already coming off, etc... The wood is soft and dents or chips very easily. Also, there's a space that's far too big between the last step and the floor of the set. We had to add a board across the top of the ladder to stop a child from going through, which almost happened more than once but fortunately someone was there to catch him. I expected more for the price, especially since we had our last playset for over 20 years.

Bought this over the summer. My toddler really seams to enjoy it. Looks to do on this thing! 3 swings, rock wall, rope wall, slide, telescope. It’s great for him. It does creak a lot if an adult gets on it and that paint is quickly coming off the roof. Not bad but no the best I’d say.
