Can't adjust the valves so shower head and hand held shower are both off. One always drips. I don't recommend this product.

Zen shower and high quality

We're really pleased with this shower system. The quality is very, very good (even our plumber was impressed with the fittings). The rainshower head is large and the flow of water feels peaceful. You can set the perfect temperature and leave it there - love that feature.

Watch the height of the handles!

We love this unit. However, the plumber made a mistake and installed the handles too low which meant that the shower head was just inches from my husband's head. We got an extension from Grohe, but I believe that extra 6" affected the water pressure. It's already a low-pressure unit, but this one (compared to another one we had installed) is weaker. It's still ok though. Beautiful fixture.

Shower controls are modern and easy to use. The hand shower pressure is also good. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. This review is based on using it for a week.

Disappointed

The shower system is well built, aesthetically pleasing, with one unfortunate caveat. It is extremely difficult to position the water shut off in exactly the right position, to ensure it doesn’t drip from either head. The small dot, and the barely visible indentation on the lever must be aligned exactly.(Reference photo) I spoke with customer service 3 times. There is no remedy. Expensive system, highly disappointed.I’ve used a sharpie to mark the correct off position. Would not recommend.

Can this set up actually control flow like a flow valve.

Robin W. answered my below question "YES", but Grohe technical person and every supply house sales person I spoke to said it is not possible. Please someone with this fixture, actually try it & answer before I buy it!

Unfriendly design.

Had this now only a short time, hard to say what we might discover still. Surprised and disappointed by the absence of a more discrete shutoff point especially where there is a present, albeit functionless, lockout button on the diverter control knob while there is a functioning lockout button in the temp control knob opposite. The idea of a symmetrical button that serves no other purpose is just unfriendly design.

[Rewarded Review] Nice Shower Upgrade

The Grohe 26128 is a nice upgrade from a typical pressure-balance shower system. It offers upgraded temperature and volume control than a typical shower, and the shower components seem to be well made. The metal shower hose is also a nice upgrade over the vinyl hoses offered on other Grohe systems.

I am only giving this product a 3 star review because I could not use the product. The product would require me to tear out my shower wall, which is something that I cannot currently do. I hoping for a full remodel soon and will update in the future.

This showerhead looks fantastic and runs great. It looks very modern and functions cool to the touch. We had some difficulty getting it installed by ourselves, so we did ask our local handyman to help- but after a bit of effort it was flowing smoothly!

I am very happy with my CoolTouch Shower System. We recently renovated a small bathroom with a tight space for the shower in an old house and this unit works wonderfully. I love the fact that I have the handheld and the shower head all in one. The shower head has a nice rain-like feel. I use them both daily. The streamline styling is great. The finish is impeccable and the whole unit feels solid.

Love this, very well made with heavy chrome finish. This is not a do yourself project, tile must be removed to install this shower system. You must add a shower head and spray head to complete the system. Keeps water temp were you set it, no more scalding when a toylet is flushed!
