Doesn't work
Followed the instructions and it doesn't turn off. I only have one bathtub and it's not in stock in stores so I have to turn water off to my house when not in use until I get a new one.
High Quality
This is the 3rd one Ive used 1/2 sweat Heavy brass, smooth operation. The built in stops work good and are a plus. I paired with Colony trim kit. I replaced a 30-year-old half the brass Delta.

Bathroom Remodel Project
This fixture was installed by the plumber however I have not have any issues since the contractor has completed the project for me. I do know the fixture did not require any special fitting by the plumber that added costs to the project.

Rough in Valve
This is one of the most durable valves on the market. The previous one lasted 20 years before needed replacement.
Total junk and American Standard would not stand behind product
Plumber advised the mixing valve was defective and did not properly seal with cartridge. Could not perform temperature control.
Stay away!
Brand new, out of the box the valve leaked at the stop screws. The contractor showed me and the rubber gaskets were chewed up. No spare parts to be found in the local hardware and big box stores. You can get them online but with a time crunch for installation, I went with a Delta valve and trim. Stay away! Many online reviews of the same issue happening with the identical valve. What a waste of money.

Valve and cartridge combo creates low water pressure
Valve went in great but this valve and cartridge kills the water pressure so much so that the American Standard Spectra Versa Rain and Hand held shower kit doesn't work. My newly remodeled master bath shower is unusable and I have to consider ripping into the tile and wall to replace this with another brand.
