New Toto toilet to replace older, low stance ones.

QUALITY, GREAT SERVICE

Low quality seat, weak flush

Installed 3 of these in my completely renovated home. We have used them now for about 6 weeks. 2 of 3 toilet seats are already crooked and partially detached. Toilet seats are flimsy cheap plastic and come loose at the attachment with regular use. The very low water flush is sometimes insufficient to remove all waste. For the price, this is a low quality toilet with a seat that is practically broken coming out of the box. We will likely need to replace all three toilets for another few thousand dollars. I would not recommend this model.

pricey but high-quality toilet

After a few months with the Toto UltraMax II, I can vouch for its flushing performance and suspect its MAP rating of 800 g is an underestimate -- I believe it can flush more. The standard, gravity-driven flush should prove to be low-maintenance with easily replaceable parts. The one-piece design should avoid tank-to-bowl leaks and includes a hole for a Washlet should I elect to upgrade in the future. The washlet hole is covered by the included soft-close seat.

The Toto Ultra Max II is very high quality, highly regarded and priced very reasonably. Thank you!

After one year, this $800 toilet fails

I should've checked Better Business Bureau first, but this toilet has an issue with the proprietary "flush tower" (which is impossible to replace, due to their poor customer service) where just around the 1 year or less mark, it will fail and water will start endlessly flowing through the toilet. Save your money, and do not go with this company for any toilet.

we already had numerous Toto products so buying another was a no brainer - but this new one is even better!

Fabulous Flusher

Absolutely thrilled with this toilet. I recently changed out 3 toilets in my home. I went with this TOTO Ultramax ii for my 3rd toilet. No regrets. It uses little water and flushes like a champion. Install was easy, and I’ve had awesome interactions with the staff. Don’t hesitate to use these guys, and TOTO products are fantastic, so just go ahead and get flushing!

I now have 3 of these installed. They are Great. I like ALL the design factors in these Toilets. They flush very strongly with the 1.28 GPF they use. OK, they are a little noisy at the start of the flush cycle but some extra noise is to be expected, and is highly acceptable, with the great flush activity. The coating works great, it is very rare now that we have to use a toilet brush. An added bonus is the Flush Valve Design. No more flappers to change and worry about. If something goes wrong just twist the whole valve a little and off it comes as an assembly. Time will tell how long they will last. My oldest toilet is nearly 3 years old now and all is going well. Full Transparency - The first flush valve was Badly designed. I took some pictures of the design flaw as I saw it (Chain would get hung up in the mechanism, keeping the toilet running.) and sent in a warranty claim. They were very quick to respond by eMail, agreeing there was a problem and sent me a new flush valve. I was glad to see it was slightly changed to take care of the Chain problem. Put the new one in and NO problems since. I was careful to make sure my next 2 Toto toilets had the "new" style valve. (Pictures attached).
