I had one of these or something very, very similar to it from Grainger, that was still working when we sold that home. (I purchased it in 1979 and when we moved from there in 2009 (30 years!!) it was still operating nicely in that garage!) We just built a 24’x24’ garage here and I purchased this online for $86.00+tax (model ILG8SF12V-ST) at the end of July 2024 and today November 8. I just installed it. The straightforward instructions helped as I boxed it in with some 2”x6” lumber in the wall. The installation took about an hour and a half including the outside trim. I love the fact that it’s got a thermostat so when I need summertime cross ventilation in the garage we’ll have it. In summary, great looking fan, reasonably priced and easy install. Mike

predictable install- power cord already attached although short. remote (corded) control works great- wish i had an extension for that due to the shop ceiling install. set to come on automatically above my high threshold.

Well built and does the job. Easy to install. The thermostat and speed control is a real plus.

Put it in a shed adjacent to my house. Itis used as a house for our out side cat.Auto themastat is great to get some air flow in the hot weather. Very pleased

This fan is installed in the vent in my garage. My garage is now 10 to 15 degrees cooler in the hottest part of the day. The installation was fairly easy. I needed to remove the lovers for my installation.

I got this fan for my side shed I have quail in. Heatwave was coming so I ordered this to alleviate the heat in it. Very nice fan. Works great. The temperature dial to automatically turn on and off at your desired temperature is wonderful and then you can adjust the fan speed as well. Great fan. I would definitely recommend if you need to exhaust a room.

I installed my Vevor 16” humidity fan in a shipping container to prevent to ‘greenhouse effect’ and it’s working perfectly! Also, I had a question regarding programming the control unit and Vevor replied to me the same day, and it was a Saturday! A++ in my opinion.

I purchased this fan for a pool pump room. It's perfect. It has a manual, humidity, and temperature turn on. It's quiet and moves a lot of air.

Very good fans,should have done years ago. My building was about 110deg. before the fans now it’s about 75-80deg. Thank you.??????

Pretty good fan and thermostat works great

Very powerful and the thermostat works great. Open at the top and bottom which indicates that the fan is mostly mounted outside. I mounted it inside for a garage vent. Have to seal the top and bottom of fan, otherwise the warm air just blows back into the garage.

It did take a little longer than estimated to arrive at the store. For the cost comparison to similar items I really wasn’t expecting the quality to be that great but I was very impressed.

Product as described. Installed in a hobby greenhouse and works perfectly. Multi speed and thermostat fan is great.

Seems to be a good unit but I just got it and got it installed. Will have to wait and see if it is durable and last and length of time. So it is a wait and see right now.

The fan was all I expected it to be. Works well in my small shed. Install was very straightforward. The fan is a good quality product. The thermostat is very simple to use just set and forget it.

I can not believe how well this vent works. Now when you walk into the garage it's like walking into the house, cool and wonderful. Best purchase I have ever made! Highly recommend this vent.

Mounting Instructions & Diagrams

Calls for 13" x 13" is too small to fit fan in wall opening. Needs minimum 13 1/4" maximum 13 3/8" to fit (any larger and you won't be able to mount with the attached mounting bracket.. Also mounting holes will not line up with mounting studs at 13 1/4" requires putting pilot holes in corners of mounting bracket then sealing existing mounting holes. Fan works well
