Beware of Z line policies of return

I had an outdoor kitchen built at my new home. I like the line products. In preparation for the kitchen, I ordered all my components so the installer would be able to complete the job in a seamless fashion. I ordered the chimney extension anticipating I might need it. It just so happens I did not need it. Never open the box. The line would not accept a return of this item even though it was never opened. Never opened! Based on their return policy, I would not recommend buying a Z line product and would consider another brand. If they decide to give me a refund, I will change this Review. But until then, don’t buy from the line

Elegance

We are happy with the product. Very good quality for the price.

We bought and paid for our Z-line product and no one ever informed us that the product was on Back order or not available.

Couldn’t use it.

I bought the extension at the Rangehood Store. Unfortunately, it was the wrong size. I tried to return it but they don’t take returns and I lost my money. Not a good custom service experience

Hood extension color.

Extension does not match the color of the hood vent stack. The recommended stainless steel cleaners after application did not restore the color. It appears to be two different shades of metal.

Loud

I've had my range hood for about a year and I can tell you it is not quiet in any way. The buttons to turn the light on or the fan are so loud you can hear it outside. Also, the LED lights are flickering all the time. I've talked to the company about these problems and they told me to disassemble the speaker area and put electrical tape to deaden the sound. I would not recommend this product to a friend.

Beautiful extension for our range hood!

This was a no-brainer! The extension for our Z-Line range hood is just right in our kitchen!!!

No return policy

They do not allow returns on unopened boxes or anything at all. Pretty ridiculous

9' ceiling extension

I used this as the original piece that came with the hood was not long enough. The extension was a perfect fit and need no adjustments. I have used these hoods in may remodels I have done and they are top quality.

Chimney didn’t fit recommended hood

Chimney doesn’t match the curve of hood correctly but customer service is awesome and working on getting it corrected.

Spend the extra money and find a reputable company to buy from.

Came with major scuff on front and no one has returned my calls for a replacement
