This is so quiet. It almost sounds like it might be stuck. It is longer than my other disposal so that side of the cabinet had to be rearranged but I can't say I mind. My plumber said it was fine to install as well. I had a sink faucet and the disposal (all Kraus) installed a couple weeks ago. So far loving all of them.

Modern style, enough hp and quiet.

Very nice for a garbage disposal. I did not want a garbage disposal because it tempts people to use as a garbage dump. I just remodeled and could have had more available space inside the cabinet with just the drain. The Kraus 3/4hp is quiet, has a modern style with quick connect and fits in well with my design.

So far so good. I purchased a new home and the sink is on the island. The builder didn’t include a garbage disposal. I hate putting food in the trash can. As for function, it does what it’s supposed to do. It’s a bit louder than I expected though hence the 4 stars.

This was a great buy! KRAUS is already known to be an excellent brand and this is part of the reason I purchased this one. It grinds well and isn't as loud as your normal disposal. It has worked very good.

It's quiet! I like that it has a removable rubber 'thingy' that is not removable on other brands. You know, the part that gets nasty and where the smells come from? This one is removable and can be easily cleaned. I love it!

Farm Sink

We seem to have an issue with drainage and we did use the a Kraus Farm sink with the disposal. The flange was from the disposal as well. Make sure the plumbing is low enough before you put your cabinets in for this combination...Plumber said reverse P trap and/or Sump pump will not work so we may have to tear things up...but other than that we like it.

Looks great but install was a total nightmare

You're supposed to poke out two plastic caps. The problem is the caps didn't come out, and I hit the screwdriver harder and harder until finally it poked right on through, except the caps still didn't pop out. I had to chisel them out and still wasn't able to get all the plastic out. Then I had to do it again with a second cap. I spent all day trying to figure out how to attach it to the sink. The instructions say to "practice" this procedure but I finally concluded it was physically impossible.

This garbage disposal doesn't disappoint. It's surely worth every penny. It's very well built, nicely designed and doesn't take a lot of space from under the cabinet. Works really well. I got Kraus sink and I'm glad that I chose this garbage disposal.

Everything I've ever purchased by Kraus has been EXCEPTIONAL and this garbage disposal is no exception. My Contractor, who had suggested I get a Moen, was impressed and said "wow, that's so quiet!" Yep, it's a Kraus! Easy to install, heavy duty for the job and QUIET! You won't be disappointed.

This was as expected. easy to install and use. so far, I havent had issues with using it. it does the job. Runs quietly which is a huge plus. I am not sure if it is still required, but definitely run water while you run it. Would recommend!
