[Rewarded Review] High end, powerful, wifi and more,

Great cooktop, fast powerful induction cook top. Awesome look, installs simply if you are replacing an older one. it dropped right in and hookup was simple, has all wiring connected. The style and the look is stunning and high end looking, will give any kitchen a fast upgraded look. Boils water extra fast on the boost setting, quicker than my previous one. Has a simmer setting which is great and useful. Wifi feature connects to the LG thin Q app for all updates and many other features. Overall an awesome cooktop with so many useful features.

[Rewarded Review] Induction - the future of cooking: LOVE IT

In a word, impressive. Received shipment with slight damage on the box. Opened to find the cooktop was well-packaged but not impervious to damage and I would venture to say that the most at risk may be the top and top edges. If your box is damaged, CHECK IT sooner rather than waiting. The measurements weren't exactly what I expected so there are pictures that may help you with your planning. I've used induction in the past and was slightly bothered by the buzzing/humming sounds (at all power levels). Not this one, at low power, the sound is whisper quiet, at medium power, its very tolerable, at high power, its not bothersome (your range hood will be much louder). My experience with the humming was never a deal-breaker but a undesirable nuisance. Not at all a concern here. The controls are soft touch that include a demur chime for on/off and power buttons. The controls are simple and intuitive. I noticed fingerprints with every touch so this could be bothersome to some but since its all smooth, cleanup was a breeze. Your may have heard before heating speed is one of the high points of induction, well it can hardly be overstated; I boiled 3 cups of water at medium power on a medium sized 'burner' in roughly 5 minutes (this would be 1/2 the time my gas cooktop would have done it by comparison). And one last plus, there is a "H" indicator after the unit is used. H means the glass top is warm, OK, its hot but I tested it after the water boil and easily pulled away before any risk of burns and with no open flame, its hard to believe this is not safer for fire prevention and for burn risks. One thing, as you should probably already know, your cookware will only work on an induction if a magnet will stick to the surface so consider this before committing to the future of cooking - induction. I will never go back.

[Rewarded Review] Powerful

I'm giving a 4 star review of this smooth top induction unit only because most products require at least a year or more to really earn a higher rating. Anyway, it was easy to install (replaced an older model basic electric type). This is a learning curve which will take me some time to learn the features. Happily I have plenty of suitable cookware. Does not require an extra heat exhaust, good variety of power options and burner size. Having only the burners get hot reduces having to constantly clean the entire top of dried on spills, one of my least favorite chores. Noise level is minimal. Control lock safety feature works well. Timer is working as it should. Energy Star certified, as well. Not overly priced comparatively. Nothing negative to say here.

[Rewarded Review] QUICKER!!

Sweet anticipation!! The LG Cooktop arrived before we had the kitchen remodel completed, so there was a slight delay in this review. Delivery personnel were excellent and understanding. There will be a rangehood mounted over top in place of one of the pendant lights currently over the counter. Our 1958 house is 220 volt wired and has natural gas, so making the connection to electricity was not difficult. My daughter-in-law is a chef, so she was able to help with the necessary cookware required for this cooktop = magnetic stainless steel, cast iron, and nickel work best. I love my cast iron (quicker bacon)!

[Rewarded Review] Great Induction Cooktop !

LG 30 in. 4 Elements Induction Cooktop in Black with Power Element and SmoothTouch Controls. This is a really nice Induction Cooktop. The smooth glass surface with touch controls make cleanup very easy. Boost feature provides very quick boiling of water. The simmer button easily maintains simmering . Precision temperature control. Cookware Heating Efficiency Indicator to help you determine how well your pots and pans will heat up. Most pots that a magnet will stick will work. I do recommend buying cookware designed for induction cooking. Glass and aluminum cookware will not work. Download the ThinQ app to unlock even more features ! If you have a LG smart hood or over the range Microwave you can Sync your cooktop via the ThinQ app to automatically activate the fan and lights when the cooktop burners are in use. Installation requires cutting the counter top to the correct rough opening and connecting the 240V power. This cooktop is hardwired so knowledge of electrical work is required.

[Rewarded Review] Don't trust the BestBuy specs

The dimensions in the specs are 21 x 28.5 and Best Buy lists the cutout size as 28 x 28 inches. Also BestBuy lists it as 120v. The LG site has different specs and I think I'll use their specs so I don't have a 7-inch gap in my countertop.

The produce is very good and surprisingly efficient, the only thing that could be improved is the control markings, they are dark grey on black and quite hard to read especially in dim lighting.
