Bought this for my own home. Beautiful tub, plenty of depth. Super heavy; get some help placing it! Turned away two previous delivery attempts at the curb from box stores, both were damaged. All were similar price points, but you folks had the best delivery team, by far!
BEAUTIFUL TUB. DELIVERED DAMAGED
I purchased this tub directly from Kohler.com. It is a 400 lb. tub. My contractor found a hair line crack at the head of the tub right next to the overflow. I am not certain what to do. I sent the photos to Kohler; called them to check if they received it and they told me it typically takes an hour to one and a half hour to get it via email, which I found to be odd. I am just trying to submit this claim to get this resolved. I will see what happens. This tub isn't cheap, so I am truly upset that it was delivered this way.

Beautiful Cast Iron Tub- largest in gallons; this is the second bathtub ordered in the model- can not compare Cast Iron to Acrylic- far superior product.

Great tub. Classic lines and beautiful style. The only issue was the delivery. First one delivered had a scratch in the apron so we returned and ordered new. By returning I mean having delivery company pick up. The delivery company needs much improvement. We paid for “over threshold” delivery but they only sent one guy. The tub weighs over 400lbs and he wanted to just leave it in the garage. No no no. We wouldn’t be able to lift and pass thru the mud room and make the hallway turns. The first delivery guy did a nice job and we helped him get it over threshold. The second whined a bit at first but came around and did a nice job after we helped him. All told very satisfied. A struggle to level the heavy tub but after hooking up the drain it looks like it’s going to be a beautiful tub after tile. Make sure you cover and protect with plywood during construction. If you’re have multiple trades working someone will drop a tool and chip the enamel and No one will admit and take responsibility. You’ll have to try and repair which will ultimately fail. Don’t just cover with one of those cheap Oatey plastic liners. I mean cover first with a soft moving blanket completely around the ledge and over the apron. Then cover with 3/4” plywood or osb so you can stand on it. Cover the apron also with plywood or osb. You could leave a slight gap around the perimeter so you could slide your plastic surround liner and hardy backer board down around the tub. Don’t take for granted these tile people know what they’re doing. Many cut corners on water proofing and their warranty’s are worthless. You won’t be able to find them let alone get them to repair. Do your own research on how to correctly waterproof around the tub. I prefer plastic liner first over studs then hardy backer then red guard. Never use drywall. Best of luck!
Huge finish quality issues
I bought this tub trough Kohler online. I read all the reviews, so I felt ready to critique what I was paying for and knowing from the past (like 18yrs ago) experience with them- knowing they are capable of high quality with flawless finish. The fourth tub arrived, still zero luck. From lacking full enamel, to air bubbles (barely visible) to the big issue of why I keep rejecting tub after tub after tub: black specs in apron finish. Quality person said it is acceptable as it is ash from the kilning process. I find it odd that 18 yrs. & 25 years ago when I last bought Kohler tubs- there was not this issue in their cast iron. I'm very sorry Kohler this is not acceptable finish or reason. Kohler representatives have been hit or miss, today was a miss and they returned my order (by their choice) and will not be sending another replacement due to my dissatisfaction (by their choice). I'm trying a different cast iron tub style, one with higher star rating. If that fails in my quality standard and expectation I will go to another brand. give them one more time to redeem themselves seeing as I'm a Wisconsinite... If they shipped four tubs and sent back each one- I really question the inspection process, they have these days, and the inspector's attention to detail. YES, tub has scroll work pattern for the slip resistant bottom, I have no issue with the pattern even though it doesn't suite this tubs style.
Super happy with this tub. I had it delivered today so it hasn't been installed yet, but I absolutely love the design and quality. It's honestly a work of art. Great communication and service with both the purchase and delivery. A++++

This is one heavy bathtub and the quality is built-in. It's one solid bathtub where 4 people had to bring it upstairs. It's beautiful and it shows immediately because you can see the texture on the bottom of the non-slip tub. Expensive but you get what you pay for!
Scrollwork bottom NOT SHOWN!!
This lovely looking bathtub had a surprise not detailed or mentioned that I saw.
Completely worth it
It is heavy (390 pounds) and more expensive than fiberglass or enamel steel but the bathtub is worth every bit of trouble and cent you will spend on it. This tub is solid and it is beautiful. We put ours on the second floor of a center-hall colonial, not an easy task, but worth the effort!

To the point on the tub we received. 1. The quality is very good as the porcelain is well finished and the lines are very defined. 2. The nonslip bottom was a surprise because it is quite defined and beautiful. Bottom line is yes this is what we were looking for in a soaker tub.
Somehow I thought it would be deeper. The legs were not made exactly the same, no big deal since the whole thing needs to be leveled anyway but speaks of attention to detail at this $$$ price tag.

Product looks great, better than expected. Made purchase online so I did not see it until I picked it up and uncrated it. Was looking for a stylish tub that was substantial. This tub was the right one for the look I was going for. I also purchased matching toilet and pedestal sink. Very happy with the combination.
First time disappointed with Kohler. Buyer beware.
First of all: This experience is the only negative one we've had with Kohler. We've bought many faucets and bath accessories from them and have found that in those cases, they have stood by their products whenever problems have arisen. I'm writing this cautionary review because it represents a major investment, and I wish someone had written a "buyer beware" review before we bought our tub. It's two-toned, as you can see from the photo. The apron is a cream color while the rest of the tub is white. When I first noticed the inconsistency, I asked a sub-contractor if he saw anything strange about the tub. He immediately saw the color contrast, but suggested that it was a reflection from the mustard colored primer on the wainscoting on the walls. I was relieved by his explanation! However, once the shower surround was tiled and the wainscoting painted a Benjamin Moore bright white, it became clear that the coloring was a flaw in the tub. I contacted Kohler and they sent an "independent" contractor to our home to look at the tub. He looked at the tub and said, "No, it's a consistent color." He said that it would be impossible for the color to be inconsistent because the enamel is sprayed on the entire tub at once. He said that he's been reviewing Kohler products for thirty years. We became a little skeptical when I asked if he ever had found a problem with a Kohler product, and he said, "No." We found it quite remarkable that, in thirty years, every product he reviewed was perfect! Bottom line: Everyone who has no financial incentive to convince us otherwise agrees that in truth, the tub is not a consistent color.

I ordered this beautiful tub and it was delivered today. Unfortunately, the delivery driver just left it in my driveway and took off before my husband could inspect the tub. He never even got a signature on this tub that was over $1600 with tax and delivery charges. He just left it in the driveway! There were defects in the enamel right on the front of the tub as well as 2 black smudges that would not come off of the front. The tip of one of the black smudges was actually a gouge in the enamel. The only thing that the Home Depot customer service rep could do was have the carrier pick it up (they will call within 5 business days to schedule a pick up when I MUST be present - so they can drop it off without me, but I need to be here when they pick up the tub that shouldn't have been left in the first place?) and have me re-order the tub. My refund on the first tub will not be processed until the carrier picks it up. So now I have purchased 2 of these tubs, which are not cheap. This 400 pound tub is sitting in my driveway and we can't move it to a more protected place. They gave me a very small discount on the second tub, but this is not enough to make me ever buy from them again. This is seriously holding up my bathroom renovation. There should not be defects in the enamel of a tub from the enameling process, nor should a damaged tub be acceptable.

The first tub I got in was severely scratched, the tub is not packaged well from the manufacturer, it did slow my renovation. Home depot did credit me with a discount, ordered a new one. My wife Loves, Loves, Loves this tub. It is beautiful, deep, holds heat well, heavy to install!…but worth it &$$$
Good and bad
Beautiful tub, quality is excellent as one would expect from Kohler. What I loved about the tub I've learned to hate, and that is the way the corners are designed. Because of the ridge in the corners, shampoo and liquid soap bottles fall off all the time. It's very annoying, and I wish I had gotten a simpler design.
Beautiful Tub
We haven't used it yet because the bathroom is not yet finished but everyone in the family is just waiting to get in it. It fits in the same space as the tub it replaced, but it is roomier - wider in the tub. It's beautiful and just what I wanted. Two men were able to get it into the house and position it - and I never heard cursing. I'll be buying another for the next bathroom to be remodeled in the next week, so you can probably tell I really like this tub.
Good functionality and design for a tub/shower combo
We wanted to obtain a deep bathtub that we could use in our master bathroom as a tub/shower combo. One of our parameters was the ease of being able to step into the bathtub - this fit the bill. Comfort for bathing was another quality we were looking for in a tub and this is a comfortable tub. And last but not least was durability and that is why we chose cast iron. One word of caution when purchasing this tub! You must look the bathtub over carefully for defects. The cast iron in some places was thin on my bathtub and that concerned me as this is a big investment. It is very difficult to see these imperfections, but you can feel them. The cast iron was actually coming through the porcelain. Take the time to thoroughly inspect it before accepting delivery!
great tub!
Purchased this for update to our master bath. Although it was heavy, we decided to go with cast iron for the durability.

I purchased this tub 2 years ago in almond. It is absolutely beautiful! I purchased it to use...not just for looks as so many are. The realitively low side mades it easy to get in and out and easy to lean over to clean....plus it has an elegant no slip bottom. It it not huge so fills up rather quickly. I installed a roman tub filler and a hand held sprayer....perfect to rinse out the tub! However this perfect shiny finish nothing much sticks...doesn't take much to keep it. The only negative i would say is that the tub doesn't have much of a slope to the back so you do sit up more than I expected.
