DO NOT BUY MIDEA JUNK

MIDEA products are garbage. They are refusing a warranty repair because I didnt save a receipt even though it was purchased 3 months ago and verified by the serial number.

Works great. Easy to use. I like the wifi connection. Easy to empty and monitor.

No-fault dehumidifier

Nothing to dislike! Excellent interior dehumidification for my finished basement, no matter which mode i use!

Title of the product clearly says “with pump” but apparently the 35 pint one does not have a pump. If you need a model with a pump, be mindful the title of the object doesn’t seem accurate.

I found this as Consumer Reports top pick and it has lived up to it. It takes a bit to get used to the setup as it has to be oriented right but is a great design, nesting as it does. I had borrowed the more standard unit with removable water catch basin. But this design is much better as it allows for much more water storage and that allowed me to leave it running while I went out on business. Also props to HD for allowing me to swap sizes so easily after the hurricane. I bought the 50l and it was way too big

Product arrived damaged, but Walmart Customer Service rep took care of the return in a very professional and timely manner!!! Midea manufacturer was also very helpful! A very nice unit but heavy so will get a smaller unit. Good brand that is rated well by Consumer Reports!

Good capacity, if clunky and heavy

A bit misleading on size since the smaller cube doubles in size with the bucket underneath. It is therefore big, not stylish (my wife said “ugly”), and clunky to empty. But it does have a large capacity and draws out moisture well. When full you have to lift the heavy top part off the bucket. Then lift the 40lbs of water to carry and pour. Some won’t be able to do that safely. To eliminate the bucket you have to pipe directly into a drain. Not possible in my main house area. And even then it doesn’t appear to use a standard hose hookup like my dehumidifier in the basement. Odd to me Consumer Reports rated this tops.

POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE

This review is not for the item but for the seller. I never used the item and will update this review when I am satisfied with the transaction. I purchased this dehumidifier for our RV. It arrived with two holes in the box and the box had been opened and retaped with a note on top that said something had been replaced. I do NOT want a used or returned item. I want a NEW product for my money. I will not open the box.

Great Dehumidifier

Works very well to remove humidity. Fan has average noise level on high. It’s easy to sleep with the fan on low. Mobile app works well with WiFi

This is a nested cube. Water just drains into the bottom. You can then lift off the top and dump it. You can also set how full (heavy) you want it. 35 pints is about 5 gallons or 20 liters, which is about 44 lb. Awkward to carry. The bucket does have wheels if you have a flat smooth floor all the way. The included hose is just a sampler. Like 3 ft. or so. Season is over for me but I’ll aim to connect to a drain next year.

Seems sturdy and reliable so far

We are happy so far with this new dehumidifier after using it for 2-3 weeks now. Much quieter than our previous one although bigger. The non-hose design- the control unit and fan sitting on the bucket - takes some getting used to, and some muscle to lift the control unit off the bucket. But the bucket comes with optional casters so you can roll it to a drain or sink to empty. We’re still learning some of the digital panel tricks. In all, good performance so far especially for the price we paid.

Midea may give poor customer support. Be aware.

I had purchased this unit online. For 10 days, this unit worked great. Quiet, intuitive, easy to empty, wifi control. Then.... it stopped. That is when I found out how Midea, and by extension, Walmart, treats its warranties.
