Poor customer service

I got this grill in April 2024 and the temperature gauge stopped working. Went back to Walmart asking if i could swap it for a different gauge so i dont half to bring it back and half to put together another one.They said i didnt take out the warranty. So here i am asking OJ for help Does anyone actually work their???? I have been trying to call for over a weak now with no results Multiple times a day. I have sent multiple emails.Have only one answered saying to call and they will take care of under warranty NO ANSWER just a recording

Absolutely Disappointed!!!

Do I have to even give it one star?!!? After it arrived today, close to 2 weeks after I ordered it, FedEx delivered it. I was outside at the time and the Fedex guy was a little smug acting when I greeted him friendly. I found out why.. The box/packaging was absolutely mutilated during shipping. I thought about refuses the shipment but reluctantly accepted it ( instead of of telling the delivery guy to get out of my driveway and take the garbage with him... live and learn). The parts were just randomly laying in the box. I ended up having to assemble the grill to even see if all the parts were there. Surprisingly its only missing a wheel. There are some scuffs on the barrel and the barrel is warped a litte letting the grills grates slide around very freely. The worst thing is.. the box is so mutilated that i cant even pack it up to return it!! aside from the bad shipping.. Don't be fooled.. your buying a name and not quality. It doesnt even have cast iron grill grates.. has the same thing a $150 grill would have. I'm demanding Char-Broil to come to some sort of resolution to this....see the pics

DISGUSTED WITH WALMART %26 SHIPPER!!!!

There was no product/manufacturer box %26 the cardboard box it was delivered in was delivered so beat up %26 so many holes %26 tears in the box that I didn’t even open it for fear of missing parts!!!

Initial thoughts after use

Received the grill and assembly instructions were very easy to follow. Assembled by myself in about 30 minutes. There were no missing parts/pieces. I then lit a fire in the grill to burn off the interior and season it.

Was very surprised by the quality and strength of this unit. I read a lot about it but had never purchased one. Definitely worth every penny spent.

Large, sturdy, and well-priced. You can cook many items at the same time.

Not happy!

The box came in really bad shape! Upon opening the box we discovered we were missing a wheel! In further exploring we realized some holes that should have be pre drilled were not. Sent it straight back! Do better guys.

Many missing parts

It came in a terrible beat up box that was poorly packaged and taped therefore several pieces were missing and we had to purchase new material to even use it. Terrible

One Tough Grill!

Well made. Quality-built to last many years. Love racks. Love the wheels too-easy to pull around. Love the ashes tray- makes cleaning them out so much easier. Overall I love my grill! Highly recommend!

BEST CHARCOAL GRILL IN MY OPINION

Best Grill I have ever owned and its VERY sturdy

Another great purchase for more back yard BBQ fun.

Easy to assemble (mostly). Overall it took me about 35 minutes from opening the box to having all the factory options tightened down. That's also including removal of the original intake damper plate and replacing it with the quick mount plate for the Hitch (for converting to an offset smoker).

Single Use Smoker

This grill is constructed with very cheap materials. Only used the grill one time and the finish is already flaking off under the lid. Very disappointed and wish I could return it.

Beware of Walmart’s Reseller’s Scheme

I ordered from Walmart.com the OKJ barrel grill and hitch in late April and I received the grill. The hitch portion of my order was canceled. I was bummed because this is a gift. At the beginning of May, I got onto the Walmart.com website to double check that the Hitch was truly not in stock on Walmart.com, with any other listed sellers on their site or in Walmart stores before hoping onto eBay and ordering the Hitch. I ordered on Ebay the SAME day I double checked Walmart.com. Again, this is a gift and I ended up paying an additional $42 for the Hitch on eBay because it was the only listing that said the Hitch would arrive in time for the party. Shipping was free. Today, I got a notification from eBay AND Walmart.com that I had a delivery coming. So I am thinking, wow, my Walmart.com order must of been reinstated and now there is 2 Hitches on their way! Wrong! The Hitch arrived with a Walmart.com shipping address and order number and a FedEx tracking number that is IDENTICAL to EBay tracking number. I called Walmart.com customer service to explain the situation and ask how could this happen. How can a “supposed EBay reseller” purchase an item from Walmart.com and have it shipped directly to me if the item is out of stock? Why cancel my original
