Perfect switch
Makes it so much easier to turn on and off Christmas tree. Exactly what I wanted!
Only to Turn On/Off Christmas Tree
Saw this from social media influencer and best decision ever. The switch plug makes turning on and off the Christmas tree so much easier, especially for someone who has back issues. I would like to comment on the negative reviews. Please don’t listen to the negative reviews, they obviously didn’t read the description or bother to look it up. This is only meant to turn on/off the Christmas tree. Please don’t be discouraged by the negative reviews.
Let there be lights!
It is so convenient to just tap with my foot to turn on the lights versus trying to reach the outlet.
T
Convenient ... Instead of bending over to unplug the lights you just tap on this with your foot
Not an extension cord
Package in-store says it’s an extension cord. It is not.
Needs to be renamed
Not an extension cord
Good for a switch!
Helpful for what it is described to do. Not the products’ fault that people don’t bother to read
Tough to Review: Not an Extension Cord, but Useful for Other Things
Disliked: This was not what I was expecting. I thought it was an extension cord. Really, it’s a plug with a cord and a button at the end. I am not sure why it came up in a search for an extension cord, but I was in a hurry and didn’t read the reviews. Liked: This didn’t work for my decorations, but I have a nightstand that is too far for me to turn off from my bed. I had it on Ring, but sometimes it’s a pain to turn off before bed. This works great for my lamp. So, I was pretty happy with it overall. I could see this being convenient if the tree wasn’t on a timer, or was plugged in somewhere hard to access. It wasn’t what I was trying to buy, but it wasn’t waste of money either.
Extension button?
If you’re looking at this with the intention to plug in your Christmas tree lights but your outlet is far from your tree, do not pick this up as this is not an extension cord. I thought this was an extension cord with a switch. It is a very long cord with one plug at the end and the other end being the switch button. I assumed one end would be the plug, the switch in the middle and opposite end with an outlet. I’m not sure what this was made for but may work for some who want to put this between light strands or something..but it still doesn’t make any sense.
I like it!
When my husband brought this home I naturally rolled my eyes since the outlet for our tree lights is in perfect reach. We have had the switch for nearly 3 weeks and I no longer roll my eyes, it’s honestly the best invention ever!
Wrong name
Not an extension cord
Must have for Christmas tree lights!
Great for use with a Christmas tree! You don’t even have to bend over to activate the switch. A light touch of your foot turns the electricity on and off.
Mislabeled
Not an extension cord
Dangerous
The design is horrible and dangerous. As others have said, it’s not an extension cord, just a switch on the end of a cord. When you plug a light string into the combined plug-outlet, it puts so much weight on the plug-outlet that it easily sags and exposes the prongs. There is no way this should be sold because it’s dangerous.
Not recommended
Not an extension cord, just a long button.
THIS IS NOT AN EXTENSION CORD
This is not an extension cord. It is just a switch, it won’t extend anything.
Title is inacurate
As other reviews… it says extension cord. It is not. It is a plug in with a switch. Not worth 11 dollars
False Advertising
This product is hinging on being false advertisement. This is NOT an extension cord, so I’m not sure why it is clearly labeled as such. I absolutely would NOT have purchased this in store had I known what it actually was. Money wasted to still have an unlit tree as my lights don’t reach a wall socket. Absolutely ridiculous.
Solid product
The extension cord with a footswitch is very high quality. Sturdy, solid and appears to be durable. I expected a kind of extension cord with a plug on one end, a switch in the middle, and the outlet on the other end, but this one has the on/off switch at one end and a single plug/outlet combo at the other end. Not an issue, just different from what I thought.
As advertised
Works great!
