Won't stop flowing

Brand new unit, day one...filled it with water first time and it would not stop flowing. Water dispensing buttons would not pop back up and it would continuously flow water. Had to drain the entire tank to get it to stop. Sometime wrong with the buttons as they have no spring to return them to the neutral position.

My dispenser arrived with a hole in the box. When we removed the box there was a dent in the side of the machine. When we started the dispenser it leaked from the nozzle. We watched some online videos and fixed the leak. But we can't fix the dent in our $400 plus dollar dispenser. So basically good machine, bad delivery.

Defective item that leaked

The product arrived with one of the buttons depressed which we didn't notice at first so after loading a 5 gallon jug of water, it proceeded to start leaking all over the floor. The only way to make it stop was to unplug it. The button was stuck in the "on" position and there was no way to turn it off. I returned it to Walmart with no issues other than the fact that it's a bulky item to load and return.

Meh

I had a different version I bought in 2020. It started slowing down so I bought this one. It came dented and after plugging it in, the water started leaking from the spout. Additionally, the cold water button didn't work at all. Unfortunately my local Sam's Club didn't have this in store, which is why I bought it online. FedEx is too rough with their deliveries and Primo needs to fix their buttons or something. Seems like a lot of other people are having these same issues. Now I have to return this to FedEx, which is annoying. Customer service was great, but not much they can do except send me a return label and replacement. If this second order has the same issues I'll be purchasing elsewhere and with a different brand.

Great features

I have had this water cooler for 11 months and I have nothing but good to say about it. I'm so happy I purchased it I would definitely recommend it and the self cleaning option is the best!

Call Primo Support if water button doesn’t work

Water would not dispense. Called Primo support and they said occasionally during shipping the spring becomes dislodged. He provided instructions how to fix this while on the phone with me. He was right. Problem remind and enjoying cold water.

Frustrating Experience – Not Worth the Hassle

I purchased 2 untis for my company about two months ago, trying to save money, but it has ended up costing me hours of frustration. Initially, both units had issues with the hot water not working. The company did replace them, which I appreciated, but the self-cleaning process is extremely inconvenient. It takes 90 minutes, and then you have to manually drain 1 liter from all three water dispensers.

Waste of water!

Purchased this item and I’m highly disappointed. Set it up per the instructions and as soon as the water bottle was connected it began to leak from the cold spout. The locking mechanism was hard to operate and when I did get it to work it still didn’t completely stop leaking. I have an older model of this item and NEVER had any issues with it, it’s been over 10yrs now and works like new. Because I ordered it online the local Sam’s Club won’t refund or exchange it. Never again.

Tired of buying water bottles? Buy this dispenser

Easy set up, easy loading, and I'm very pleased with this purchase. I have still had some times that I have had buy bottled water, but not near as much. Refilling the large bottles is a challenge from time to time, but overall worth it. And finding the water refill stations was easier than I thought. There are two near my home

Looks nice, but had two negative experiences.

I ordered two of these PRIMO water dispensers online through Sam's Club. The first dispenser was fully functional but made a very loud buzzing sound -- far excessive of any tolerable measure. Upon further inspection, the back of the dispenser was dented in, causing a vibration of the metal. We returned the first dispenser and requested a replacement. The replacement dispenser arrived very quickly -- faster than what the initial shipping notification indicated. Unfortunately, the second dispenser did not fully function properly -- it only dispensed cold water. The buttons for the hot and room temperature water did not work. As of the date of this review, we intend to drain the machine and return the second dispenser for a full refund. We will likely explore other water dispensers from a different company, as our only two experiences were not satisfactory.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I purchased this Primo water dispenser approx. 3yrs ago. It has officially broke. No water dispensing at all. Don't waste your money!! It's not like the machine ever worked properly when I did have it working. It was very loud almost difficult to listen to it never worked correctly with the dispensing of hot water or cold water. I only got room temperature 99% of the time. Being that this is their newest and most expensive product of this kind, I'm saddened to know there are not other companies out there that I'm certain could do better. 😞

Just as expected

Arrived well packaged and easy to set up. So far it's working really well dispensing water and loading was exactly has we had hoped for. Having a place to hang the hose for when switching bottles is so useful. Has a slight hum but isn't too loud. Heating for the water is quick but wish the cold water was a bit colder but otherwise fine.

Not great but good enough

It’s an okay dispenser. The water does not get ice cold or super hot. It is better than having nothing though, and the convenience is still worth it. I do love not having to bother with ice when I want a cool glass of water or a kettle when I want hot water. This is sufficient for that. I’ve had better dispensers but this one is good enough. I do appreciate the self cleaning feature.

Three temps - we're good to go

It seems to be a fine choice in water coolers. It was easy to unbox and simple directions to get started. We wanted a cooler that provided all three temperatures of water, hot, room and cold. This fits the bill and has a self cleaning mode to boot. So far, so good. 10 years down the road when I need another one, I’d buy this one again.

Great product and a great price

This is my second one of these from the same company. My other is 5 years old and works perfect. Had to buy another for work. A great investment as our water supply has contanimants on occasion and this gives us more peace of mind and taste great.

Great dispenser…… useless coupon

I love the dispenser. I had been eyeing for the longest prior to finally buying. Because I didn’t see the coupon for a free five gallon water until I got home, I took it back to redeem and was told I had to return the dispenser and repurchase. I even showed the receipt but that still wasn’t enough. What a bummer

Awesome purchase!

So glad I bought this! Despite reading a couple negative reviews.. it was delivered quickly, and damage free. Works just as expected. No leaks, no loud noise. It is self cleaning. It even came with a coupon for a free 5 gallon prefilled jug, and one free refill. Already saving me a ton in buying bottled water! I absolutely recommend.

No wonder it's no longer stocked

The hot water dispenser does not work! It wont dispense water when pressed and leaks hot water when not being pressed. I have to place a pad lock on the button to keep the water to a drip otherwise hot water is streaming out. I will return to the store for a refund, since this product is no longer available at Sams Club. I must have bought the last defective item

Do not purchase

This dispenser stopped working 2 years after I purchased it. When I called the company to troubleshoot it, they sent me a video- the problem still wasn't resolved and they offered me the option of purchasing another defective dispenser that would most likely malfunction after the 1 year warranty. after doing some research (too late), this is a common problem with primo dispensers. Save your dollars and purchase something else.

BEST FINANCIAL INVESTMENT I’VE EVER MADE.

Hands down, the best financial investment I’ve ever made. I had to use AfterPay and do the layaway payments ($70 something x 4 payments, First payment is due at time of purchase, and you purchase through AfterPay app, I highly encourage this for anyone who can not get approved for credit cards, Walmart credit cards, loans, etc). I love the fact it has a UV sanitizing switch. Ozarka water was the only way to get good water and a dispenser at home but there’s a 2 year contract that I couldn’t afford. I seriously highly recommend this. I don’t even drink pop or coffee anymore and I’m up to drinking a gallon a day minimum and it’s only been 2-3 weeks!!!!!!! Thank you Walmart and thank you Primo!!!
