Freezer cools erratic after 11 months

Everything worked fine for almost 11 months. Storage capacity is enormous, but this does not help when the freezer suddenly decides to act up. With a setpoint of -2F, the temperature in the freezer suddenly rose to +10F. Had Samsung on the phone and chat for around half a day. Power cycle and wait 20 minutes and 20 minutes more. It took forever to get Samsung to provide a link so a technician appointment could be scheduled. In the meantime, the actual temp in the freezer cycled from +10F to 0F, to -8F, to +2F, +20F. Now I have to wait for a technician to show up. These guys wanted yet another detailed problem description

DO NOT BUY

Had for less than a year and it won’t hold refrigerant. Has the service center out twice from Samsung and now they won’t come back out anymore. They cancelled appointments and did t call to reschedule. I am livid.

Broken door

We bought this refrigerator barley two years ago and the left door upper hinge broke. I feel that's a little unacceptable for an appliance that is only 2yrs old. We currently have a safety hazard in our house while we wait for replacement part to ship. We've have to tape tape it shut so our children don't open it. For this reason I would avoid this product.

Samsung Refrigerator

Got it delivered and we plugged it in and it never got cool. Still another day and still hasn't got cool, let alone cold. Very disappointed.

This has been a great fridge. Capacity more than accommodates my three kids and my wife and I. And we are food people, so we always have lots of fresh food on hand.

Cannot clean properly

If you spill something and it goes under the glass, it's there forever. There's no way to separate the glass from the plastic. I see Samsung keeps posting a link under people's reviews that shows how to remove the glass from a DIFFERENT refrigerator, not this one. There are no clips on this model. I may try to put some clear caulk around the edge of the shelf to keep liquids out. The fridge is OK except for this fatal flaw. I would not buy it again and I would never recommend to someone.
