The part was the exact fit - too bad with all the American Standard Cadet series toilets - we can’t seem to stock them at The Home Depot - it takes about 1 week for the parts to arrive and it’s an eternity when you have little people in the house

Great replacement

Perfect match for the old-style gold finishes (which go by many names), and is much better quality Than the coated plastic options at the big box stores.

Legacy Bronze did the trick

Replaced the original chrome lever with a legacy bronze lever. Looks and works great! Had tried an oil rubbed bronze lever first, but it looked copper instead of bronze.

Looks more like copper than oil-rubbed bronze in person.

Second Try Lever

Lever was simple to install and sturdy feeling. Chose white and pleased to see it was metal not flimsy plastic. AS shipped wrong color initially but was prompt in correcting the error. What else can I say? It flushes the toilet.

Legacy Bronze

Exactly what my toilet needed! I have oil rubbed bronze fixtures and the legacy bronze is a good match. I’m just excited that my toilet now has a lever that is not chrome.

It looks good, it has a long handle for easy leverage, the metal arm which is brass on the inside is more sturdy than plastic.
