Should have been made for induction cooktops

I rate it 4 stars for 1 reason otherwise perfect. I have not read specifications carefully and missed out “except for induction”. It was made a round bottom wok but with flat bottom outside for flat cooktops so I assumed it was also for induction, a very popular cooktop nowadays. Whilst most other sizes of scanpan woks suitable for induction are available this is the only 36cm non-stick available of the brand.

I replaced my old ,20+ yrs, Scanpan Classic Wok. I bought basically the same thing as I had the stainless steel lid. The coating on my old one was very scratched and wrecked.

Conducts and holds heat really well

Moving to a new home with an electric hotplate I was dubious I could starry in a stove-top wok! This Scanpan conducts and holds heat really well! And the surface is so easy to clean.

Durable looking Non Stick Coating

Our last Scanpan wok worked well for 15 years & we look forward to this new one lasting as long especially since the non stick coating looks to be more durable. Only used it the once so far & it worked well for Beef Stir Fry.

First time owning a scanpan wok. The surface is coarse to my surprise- so I’m not sure how this can be non stick surface. Will try this out and see the results.** now that I have tested it: it is heavy and takes a long time to heat up but when it does, it holds the heat quite well and food doesn’t stick. Also because of the rough surface, i can no longer just use a kitchen towel to clean it up before the cooking the next dish. The paper tears and leaves bits on the wok.

Great with gas NOT with Induction

Induction pots are fabulous however the wok is a disappointment on the induction stove. Admit my last cooktop was gas which works well with the wok. Highly recommend the product with gas but not with induction.

Scanpan Induction Non Stick Wok

This Induction version of the 32cm Wok is an improvement on our much older Wok. The longer handle is a much better idea than the smaller handles and the new non-stick surface is so easy to clean.

If you're gonna wok, I know I can depend on Scanpan! Unfortunately I have yet to use it even once...my motivation for cooking was for my elder parents and sadly I lost both of them within a year so never got to making anything with it...my mom was in hospice and I just was too worn out to do the prep work so it sadly didn't happen. Maybe one day...but having other scan pans, I know it will work just as well.

Unreal pan. Works like a dream. Can’t fault it

Am very pleased with this wok. The surface finish is similar to the classic grillpan that I also bought as both have Stratanium ±. I will test to see what's the difference between this and the regular because I bought the regular Stratanium as well.

Non stick Scanpan Wok performs as advertised!

Only 1 use on new Scanpan wok thus far. Great non stick surface as described. Quality wood utensils performed very well on surface. Only added small amt of olive oil for stir fry flavor. Soap, hot water and nylon scrubby all that was needed to thoroughly and easily clean. Dual handles a plus as pan bit heavy due to great construction. Plan to buy as gift for others. Hope sale prices continues!

I wish it has bigger wok but 32cm is the biggest they have. it doesn't come with the lid, have to separately purchase it. Overall, v satisfied with purchase. hope it work well on my vzug induction hob. was told can only use scanpan n wmf brand.

Delivery is fast. Item is super well packed. The wok is excellent. It is much much better than many other non stick pans that I have tried. Those mostly lasted 1 year. hope this will last longer. Although 28cm, the wok is a bit small due to the side curvature. I was hesitant about getting a bigger suze as it is already quite heavy. Thank you for the free mask.

Top notch experience with Scanpan Lazmall store. Product packaging is meticulously wrapped and shipped. Item has great solid feel which exudes quality. Bought the 28cm Classic wok (lid not included) but instead of the lid from the Classic series, I go for 28cm glass lid from IQ series which has flat glass with t-shaped handle. Don't just throw away the shipping label as there are important stuff like warranty card and also nice touch with the free facemask from Scanpan. Delighted experience!
