Bidet/Heated Seat

We got this with our walk in tub install. Only have had it two years and it’s just stopped heating.

Reasonable but not the best option

We recently purchased a Toto toilet and Washlet and as we liked the functions so much, we purchased the American Standard Spalet bidet for our downstairs bathroom, since we already had an American Standard toilet. Despite measuring the toilet accurately with the help of our plumber, the Spalet didn't fit the original toilet so we purchased an up-to-date toilet which we were assured would fit. However, it only just fits - the Spalet is much bigger than the Toto Washlet and barely fits onto the toilet. The seat is less secure and the lid is large and flops down onto your back if you sit too far back. Aesthetically, it is bulky and does not look as neat as the Toto version. The controls are not as intuitive so, all in all, I would say that it does an adequate job as far as the washing and drying are concerned but I would not recommend it highly. I would strongly recommend the Toto combination over this one.

Love this bidet

When I went in for surgery I knew I would need toilet care so finally bought a bidet…this was a perfect solution…I’ve used it for 3 years and love it ! So much that we put one at the cottage as well! Everyone that visits really enjoy it and want one for their home! The only downside was after a month of use I noticed the seat cracked but they were good to replace the seat… one at cottage also cracked… I keep the heat high don’t know if that has anything to do with it or just a flaw( I don’t weigh 200 pounds)?😉! I would recommend this product

Sub par

Not very pleased. I have had this unit for over 2 years. It does sub par job on cleaning the pack side and to top it off it splashes the and leaves fecal water on the back end of the seat and lid that needs to be wiped down after each use. I do like the heated seat and charcoal filter. I would not recommend this unit

Absolutely loved this bidet when we acquired it. It was included when we installed an American Standard walk-in-tub. It worked great for about 5 years but now the nozzles will not extend so it is basically worthless. I have contacted American Standard and am being told that there are no repair parts available. My wife and I are too spoiled by the bidet to go back to toilet paper alone, but I will be buying another brand hoping to find one with more longevity and hopefully repair capability, if that becomes necessary.

The bidet was bought to match to commode in style and mfg. The adj. seat temp. and adj. water temp. are nice features. The water spout location is adj., but more location settings would be better. The one negative is that the seat tends to move about in its mount too much. All in all, not bad though.

Surprisingly simple to install, instruction where easy to follow, it was set up in no time. Controller is very easy to use. I turn it on 2--3 minute before i plan to use it, that way the seat is warm and ready. I have to say a very refreshing experience. I would recommend it to everyone. The money that i save on toilet paper is amazing, I've had the same roll on the holder for over a month. Great for the environment.

The seat is great. It has all the functions we were looking for and it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The water pressure is good and the controls are easy to use. The install was easy you just have to read the instructions start to end before you start the install. We have been using it for a few weeks now and it has continued to work as we got it. Overall great product !

I have had the advanced clean for 3 weeks or so. Set up was a bit of a commitment between the installation and adding a wall outlet. While set up was easy it was an added expense.

(Rewarded Review) Great Way to Upgrade an Average Toilet

After a few weeks, this is a luxury that will be very hard to live without. I was concerned that the spray would be difficult to keep clean but the system is well designed to sanitize the components. The installation is very easy. Be careful tightening the provided metal fitting to the fill valve and supply hose threads which are plastic (at least for me). The only downside is that the seat is very clunky looking and does not feel like it is very sturdy. Time will tell how long it holds up. Be aware that a power outlet is needed. I'm currently running an extension cord to supply power which I do not feel comfortable with. Longer term, I will install a wall outlet.

It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I really like it so far. It was pretty easy for my husband to install, but he had to squeeze himself in to get to the bottom back of the toilet. It will also elevate you by a couple of inches.

I love it. Mechanically it works very well. Due to the mechanism, the seat is on the smaller side. It’s okay for me, but probably not for a large/overweight person.

This is my second. Well worth the expense.
