D5 4qt essential compared to 6qt D3

Love the pan but surprised how close my new 4qt D5 essentials is, in physical size, to my 6qt D3. Had presumed smaller in scale and surface area on stovetop.

Bad retailer

This review is geared towards Williams Sonoma service level. You deliberately deceived me with the shipping time at the time of purchase. You told me it would be delivered by September 6th. However, on September 6, you magically told me the new date would be "estimated" (not guaranteed) for September 19th. I called to complain and cancel my order, but you wouldn't let me even though it HAD NOT SHIPPED. After expressing my frustration with a WS customer service rep, you miraculously found a way to ship it faster despite me being told it would NOT be shipped as promised. I have since seen other reviews of similar situations. I will NEVER buy from you again. This is NOT a reflection on All Clad, but on YOU as a RETAILER. I will buy elsewhere. You are a disgrace and in my opinion and experience, deceptive. Out of principle, I returned the pan. I am not giving my money to a company like you By the way, you should train your store associates not to blurt out somebody's personal address and phone number loudly for all to hear. It violates privacy. You can't even get that right either.

This pan is well balanced, heats quickly and exceeded my expectations for performance. Have used it several times a week and glad I bought it.

Great but D5 heavy

Great tool. Nice size. Large enough for 99% of home cooking. Highest quality.

Good, but not good for me

Nice quality, but I found these pots tooheavy. Also, the handle rivets being inside the pit makes it hard to clean. It would be better to have the inside of the pot smooth.

All-clad Essential Pan

I love all my other D5 All Clad products so I had to get this for bigger dishes! It has been great so far!

Good pan cheap lid, rather disappointing.

Very nice pan but the lid is on the cheap side. Demeyer is my favorite cookware brand and this All-Cla D5 is my first of their products. I can’t criticize the pan but the lid is very underwhelming. I’m rather sad about this but at least I didn’t buy a set.

Sensations saucier

I bought this pan many years ago I have had my All-Clad going back 25 years and they are all still going strong this particular pot is just a fantastic shape and large enough when cooking for company

Perfect fit in my kitchen

Excellent pan, love the tall sides. It is hefty to lift and clean, but quality exceeds these minor complaints.

Good buy

Love the durability and diversity of dishes we can cook in it. We tried a lot of brands and so far this one is holding up. Also easy to clean!
