I would buy this transformer again

Good commercial grade transformer 120->12 volt that stands up to outdoor, windy, salt water environment.

Missing parts

Read carefully. It does not come with a timer or photo cell. Those are extra and generally you need to call customer service to find that specific part. In their spec sheet it used to say it had a photo cell. This caused me project delays.

Works like a charm

I bought this Hinkley transformer to go with the Atlantis Cedar Path Lights also by Hinkley. The lights are clean, and modern while also blending into their wild beach grass setting. I love that I can adjust the amount of light depending on mood or need, and that I can even turn them on and off with a remote I keep in the car. Just perfect.

Product and service below expectations

Still having problems with Transformer, but unable to get a hold of anyone that can help troubleshoot the issue. Needed to return and item and after multiple calls and long wait times on hold, was finally able to get through via a FaceBook Messenger exchange. Surprised the experience was so bad. I had high hopes.

Terrible customer service

Order was delivered but transformer was not in the box. Requested another be sent, email said I would get a shipped date and expected delivery date. Never got a shipped email, had to purchase another transformer at Home Depot because electrician was coming to install the lights. Two days too late the new transformer arrived. Called to set up a return of the transformer since it was not needed anymore, got a recording that said returns had to be done through email. Emailed several times and got no response. Called several more times and was unable to ever talk to a live person. Still have not been able to return the item.

Solidly made... well designed

I knew this was well made 1 second after I opened the box. It is solid and the instructions are clear. It was placed inside the garage and took 5 minutes to get it ready to be used.
