Great lil machine!

For a cheap personal home espresso machine this thing packs a punch. I use it often twice a day, it's easy to operate, makes a super tasty latte, And it's pretty cheap comparatively. The instruction manual is pretty accurate and helpful, it steams milk and alternative milks very consistently, and has only a very short warm up. It's cuisine art so longitivity isn't too likely but time will tell, overall I'm very satisfied

Make great drinks

Nice Espresso machine. Works great for the price. Like the programable feature. Easy to use with very understandable instructions. Holds a nice amount of water. Bought this for our Florida home to replace a Yabano machine that made horrible coffee and espresso. Pleased with this purchase.

CHEAP Design Too Much Plastic and Poor Features

Looks Good but CHEAP Design. Too many corners cut such as the cheap plastic portafilter design. The poor lid/handle of the water tank. The steam control process is cheap and not manual so creating good froth with milk is a challenge. I really did expect more from a Cuisinart product. We love our other Cuisinart products so we thought this would be as good. Its NOT. Too many $$$ for Too Many Issues. Put the money for this unit to better return and get a better unit. Believe the reviews on YouTube. This was a good attempt but in the end ROI for the business beat out Loyal Customers and a TRUE Espresso machine. One example is the pressure needed for the cheap portafilter design. 15 bars WAY too much, 9 bars of pressure is the professional recommendation. 15 bars is the warning sign of a cheap design. Double wall portafilters are for cheap machines to make Espresso shots. They taste exactly that way. A manual machine for half the price that uses good portafilters and good pressure with a manual steam wand pulls much better shots. We know, we have one that puts this unit to shame. We love you Cuisinart, we hate this product. Hope you up your game and make a TRUE Espresso maker some day.

I only gave this a 2 because of the poor customer service we received from Cuisinart. The machine is not functioning properly - the steamer specifically - and Wayfair advised that we needed to deal with Cuisinart directly. We followed all the directions and gave them all the information they requested. It is yet to be resolved. Cuisinart got very poor customer service reviews and now I know why.

This is my first espresso machine and I was worried it would be a little too technical for me. I was surprised and excited to see how user friendly it is. They provide a one cup filter but the cup filter is useless way too small. A bit complicated to figure out how to get a decent amount of espresso.

Another home run. Outstanding selection. Absurd low pricing compared to competitors. Expeditious shipping. Great Customer Service … was kept informed during all phases of sales cycle from ordering to delivery. Didn’t require damage or return assistance, but previous experience makes these non-issues! Don’t strike out and try a company other than Wayfair. A true World Series Champion.

I love this machine. Making espresso has never been so easy and delicious. and making milk foam is the best and super easy. If you buy this machine you will not regret it.

This is a lemon- do not buy!!!!

This is my second machine. The first one clogged and Cuisinart took it back to repair. Then sent a brand new one (three months later) because they couldn't repair it. This new one leaks. Very frustrating! I do not have the energy to call ten times, buy a box, spend $20 to ship it back and wait another three months.

Temp?

First espresso maker so i cannot say much, simple to use. would like if it had a basket latch so it doesnt fall out when cleaning. also. was expecting hotter. temp of espresso is approx 145*F in cup (this in a preheated glass). I also trialed the temp after several brews and it’s pretty consistent around the 145*F. And the brew noise, do other machines make that much pumping noise?

I just received this #[brand:cuisinart] Espresso Maker and I am in L🤎VE!! Being that I work in a coffee shop I can personally say that this little machine is perfect for any beginner or even a more a experienced espresso drinker. It’s already programmed or (you can choose choose manual) design has you pouring single or double shots within seconds. Even comes complete with an easy to use steam wand and frother which lets you makes the perfect lattes, cappuccinos, or americanos in a breeze. It came complete with everything I needed to get started including: a tamper, coffee scoop, cleaning pins, milk frother, portafilter holder, and 3 filter baskets ( a single, double, and for pods.) I also really enjoy the feature of the top being a a warming plate. It also is sleek in design so doesn’t take up a huge amount of space and looks attractive on my counter top! 🤎 ☕️🤎☕️🤎 #Espresso #CoffeeLove #HomeBarista #[brand:cuisinart] #influenster [brand:cuisinart].

Needs a better steaming system

Ok machine, makes a fine espresso. A few annoyances though. The provided stainless frothing pitcher is a bit too tall, cannot move out without tipping, so it cannot be filled very full. In addition to make to pitchers of half full frothed milk the machine must go through a complete cycle back to espresso mode before it can be changed back to steam mode. The instructions indicate purging the hot water before steaming, but this is impossible since it cycles back and refills with hot water. The drip tray fills quickly when going back between espresso and steam modes when making multiple cups for the family.

So I first got this machine in Dec 2019 and it seemed to work well for awhile then it stopped working, the coffee would not come out. Anyway I called Cuisinart and they had me send it in for repairs. About 8 wks later I get a new machine, I used it for awhile with no problem then it started having the same issue. So I called again and again had to send it out for repairs. 8 weeks later I get a new machine which just arrived and straight out of the box it doesn't work and they want me to send it in yet again. At this point all I want it's my money back because clearly this product is nothing more than a very expensive paperweight!

I absolutely love my espresso machine by cuisinart , it’s programmable and it works great, a perfect cup every time. Simple directions, no filters to replace and cleaning unit after every use is very minimal , and definitely worth it to keep it in tip top condition. It’s a bit noisy but worth every drop of espresso!

Bought this to replace a similar Cuisinart espresso maker that died after six years. When they work, they're great but recent Cuisinart experiences lead me to think that this one will last 5-6 years at most. Cuisinart pressure cooker died at one week; steam convection oven lasted only three years; Griddler lasted four years and ice cream maker about six years. I think that when they were acquired by CONair quality went down-hill.

I am disappointed because espresso shots are not hot and barely like warm even after I allowed noisy machine to heat up for 20 minutes. In order to steamfroth milk you must take a few minutes holding your hand under pitcher to wait until you feel the milk heat up. Although it makes the best foam ever, you have to heat milk in two parts and you can only half fill the pitcher with milk because it’s makes the foam rise quickly to the top and can over flow while waiting for milk to get hot. Also to make a Latte the frothing wand first spits water then turns to steams which at that point you should put your pitcher under the wand otherwise your milk will taste watery. Espresso shots appear as they should and would taste better if were hot even as I tried different brands of espresso grounds. I have a Cuisinart 4 cup coffee maker and it makes excellent hot coffee and I’m on my second one in 6 years which is why I choose this brand for Espresso Maker. I will be either exchanging for another brand or returning.

Froth stops working

I bought this espresso as a gift for my husband. I read some negative reviews about the milk froth not working after multiple uses, but thought I'd take the chance since it was a Cuisinart. Well, the froth stopped working after a few uses, which is VERY disappointing. The espresso works fine, but if you like cappuccinos you will not like this product. I am returning the product to Macy's.

Good machine, when it works, TERRIBLE COMPANY

This is my second go-around with this machine. I had one that lasted just under a year, but when it died Cuisinart repaired the machine, and then once repaired it lasted another two years making great espresso. The steam wand did break off after the first year but I generally just make three americanos each morning so it wasn't too big of a problem. That machine finally died and was out of warranty so I decided to give it another shot (get it, shot)!

extremely happy

I use it everyday now. My coworkers found out i have an expresso machine and want me to make them coffee lol. The programing is easy and its really easy to clean and refill with the detachable water reserve container. If you have any questions about it you can just read the manual and it explains everything really well. I am very happy with my purchase. Now let's see how long the expresso machine will last lol.

Great IF you are willing to service them.

If you can service it it is great. The composite connectors breaks at some period of time and I always replace them with stainless and teflon pipes. After that no problem. It does block periodically and you have to disconnect pipes to clear blockage. Vinegar helps marginally. Best advice, always use water from your hot tap to fill as it has much less calcium. The bottom of tank flow sensor also faiols after about 18 months. Difficult to get. If you cannot service them, then maybe buy an industrial version that is easier to maintain as it will not be worth it then. If you can service them, it is a great product.
