after ordering this unit i was reading reviews from prvios buyer having issues for tiling as this...
after ordering this unit i was reading reviews from prvios buyer having issues for tiling as this one is made for surrounding walls so upon arrival i looked at unit as i have intention to lay tiles on three walls so i figured it out by grinding lips by threshold you can tile the walls its dont need brain scientist to figure it out i will post pic. of my finish product later on thx. great price and really nice and sturdy shower pan..

This base was designed for use only with surround walls. Since we used porcelain tile for the walls we saved several hundred dollars, but needed to make some major adjustments to the base. If we had had more time available, we would have returned it and sought another alternative. The on-line description should have been clearer

The shower base was fine, except like others have reviewed, the first base showed up to the store damaged and I had to order a second one. Except for the few day delay waiting on the 2nd shower base, everything worked out great.

I returned it, only buy this item if your planing to get the walls with it. I planed on tiling and the slots for walls would not allow for that . easily anyway!
