Nice looking playset, but not great wood

I did my research and it looked like backyard discovery was better than kidkraft. It's definitely a good chunk of money to spend, so I wanted to make sure it would last. Delivery was interesting, but in the end, we did get all the pieces in two different delivery dates (communication between company and delivery was a little off). Assembly was very easy and straightforward. It did take a bit if work to sort all the pieces, but the instructions were clear and easy to understand. The wood is Shockley cheap though, and that is my biggest complaint. I understand that they say to weather it before it's exposed to the outside, but it was in the rain for 2 days before we saw some wear on some of the pieces and could stain &seal it. We have stained it (out it up at the end of spring) and there are still quite a few weather pieces already and it's been barely a few months. Again, love the structure, but not happy at all with the cheaper wood product. I hope it's still standing after winter.

OUR HOUSE IS BECOMING A HOME!

We bought this playset for our 2 year old daughter a few months ago, and we absolutely love it! It took a while to put together, just my husband and my father in law, but the pieces all being labels and per box instructions were super helpful! I, of course, had to add the extra work of the wooden boarder and mulching, so there's that, too! There was even a video showing the construction process step by step for you! Our 10 year old can even use this set. We love it so much, and it's the perfect addition to our back yard.

Kids love it.

Great play structure. Missing one piece that’s why I put 4 stars. Would recommend starting with the very top piece of the rope wall and rock wall. Took 2 days and took 14hr with only one person so put together. The kids love it so we’d definitely recommend.

Very nice play set.

This playset went together very well, took me about 15 hrs of labor. My only wish was some of these boards being a little thicker, especially the ones the kids will be running on. At least an additional support board for underneath the front portion.

Perfect Swingset.

If you’re looking for a swingset for older kids 3-11 this one is for you. The hardest part was laying out all the material. Definitely FOLLOW THE STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS. They were clear and concise. All the pieces fit and nothing was missing. Took my husband and me two days to put it together. Definitely worth the price and time.

Bigger than you think

We really like the set. It’s big but not obnoxious. This took 3 people with construction experience exactly 12 hours to assemble. Have a drill for every person you have helping. I suggest unpacking everything and grouping the boards together by letter and labeling the piles on the ground. The hardware is solid, but some of the boards split pretty easily. You will be asking for a 379 in your sleep. The instructions could be more clear when a board has to be flipped a specific way for something further down the line. All the mistakes we made, were fixed with a 3/8” drill bit.

So far so good.

High quality lumber and hardware. Did a complete inventory the first day and not a single piece was missing or broken. Very high quality control standards. Took about a week to assemble and seal working 4-5 hrs per day. I am sure the Grandkids will love it!

Excellent Quality, and very sturdy!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this set was manufactured. It was a beast to put it all together, and took me roughly 25 hours to fully assemble it, over the course of 3 days, all by myself. There were only two steps that I required assistance from my wife, which was mainly help in balancing the swing post. The provided directions were really easy to follow, and the 3D BILT app was a great resource when needed. Our set was missing a single piece, but the customer service was excellent, and they got the missing piece sent out to us the next day. They did recommend applying a wood sealer/stain to it, so I did take the extra time to do it since we get snow out where we live. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this set, and my 7yr old daughter is too... which is what matters most. Lots of room to customize it to her liking too, which is a plus!

DO NOT BUT ASSEMBLY. But love the playset!

DO NOT PURCHASE ASSEMBLY. They use GoConfigure and I couldn’t even get scheduled. I called customer service many times and they could never actually help me. After waiting a few weeks, I hired a local handyman and he came out a few days later and the job was done in a day!

This set is the best! My 2 year old absolutely loves it. There's just enough options to keep her happy. The slide is a wave slide and the first few tries going down really sent her flying, but she got the hang of it. Took about 4 guys and a full day to put it together.

Cheapest wood ever found

I purchased this approximately three weeks ago, and upon beginning the assembly, it became evident that the "wood" used is not durable enough for many kids or prolonged exposure to weather. The material seems to be the cheapest available. My 32-pound daughter managed to break one of the stair pieces with just a step, and the wood cracks when you screw in the bolts. Additionally, the delivery service was inconvenient and a hassle.

[Rewarded Review] Great for Wide Age Range

Bought this playset a few months ago for my three kids (7, 4, and 1). I wanted a playset that all age ranges could play on and this one is perfect for that. It is a little tall for my 1 year old, but love that my 7 year old can still play comfortably in it. The kids love the spider swing! I would highly recommend this set, especially if you have kids on the older side.

[Rewarded Review] Very Sturdy

I bought this swing set at the beginning of the summer and my dad and I put it together in 3 days. Would’ve been quicker but it kept raining! It was a lot bigger than I expected though, so finding a place to put it was a bit tricky. My daughter loves this swing set and will spend all day swinging/going up the ladder and down the slide. She’s still too young for the rope and rock climbing. Definitely worth the purchase though, I am able to swing and go up there with her. It looks very modern and my neighbors have complimented how nice it looks!

Great for all ages!

Great quality, very sturdy! Easy step by step instructions. We did ditch the screws that came with and spent about $* on hex head screws. This sped up the process immensely. Otherwise all materials were good quality. I don’t think my kids will grow out of this swing set for many years

Complete package

My family just moved, bigger backyard, and we needed a jungle gym for our son. Well this was worth every penny. We used to go to the playgrounds around us several times a week... well let's just say our son hasn't wanted to leave the backyard. This is truly his favorite thing. It took roughly three days for me to put together due to the rain. Would have taken one.

Love this set!!

I bought this for my daughter. She's 3.5, she was so excited to watch it being built and loves playing on it. The only complaint I had was the directions are unclear in so places, and also we were short a few screws and things. I didn't like the way the swing side attached to the rest. Otherwise, it was a great purchase. My daughter seriously loves it all.

Excellent playset

It was fun for me to do alone. The only thing I couldn't do alone was the slide. Not an issue, got help. Plan carefully. This was our first playset, measured very carefully. It was between this and a gorilla playset. After measuring and marking a lot. It takes up 100% of the flat part of our backyard. Just some tips for post build. Definitely get sand. They make solar pendant lights for night play. If you have small kids, fill the monkey bar hole with the gorilla tic tac toe toy! Remove later!

nice set but bad slide design

This is a beautiful swing set! The only problem is that from day one, the slide has been completely unusable. The first person (90lb) who went down the slide, broke the brackets holding the slide bed completely off and the bed fell through. I contacted the company and purchased new braces. When they came, I rebuilt the slide. Again, first time down the slide those broke too. I contacted the company again asking to purchase a different slide. They sent me a youtube video explaining how to put the slide together.

Very happy with the product. Followed recommendations and organized all parts and pieces. Best thing you can do otherwise your hunting for parts. Everything was complete with no missing components. Fastener wise everything was there and they seem to provide 1 extra of everything. Only possible negative was the wood quality was a little on the lacking side but if you follow the directions closely all pre drilled holes and such were right where they needed to be. I installed the kit by myself in about 32hrs.
