Washer nags to connect WiFi on every power on.

Almost everything about this washer is great. The washing performance is great. It doesn't bank when spinning like I've seen older LG washers do. Even the drying performance is pretty good. There's a major problem, though: You had better plan on connecting it to the LG App, or the washer is going to bug you incessantly.

Spend the money.

Everybody should throw out their other washers and buy this one. I’ve done a lot of homework about all-in-one washers and read a lot of the concerns about them not drying. This unit is absolutely amazing. My wife and I both work midnights we’re able to do a load of wash as large as we need to and wake up and it’s dry not sitting wet for hours as we’re sleeping. There is a top cart that is removable which is the lint trap. It works very well and is very simple to dump. You slide a cartridge out of it, which pushes the lint into the garbage. There is a drain on the bottom left front which collects any additional crap. There’s a multitude of different types of cycles originally, I was sort of wondering why a washing machine needed to be Wi-Fi connected, but after naming it “my expensive washer” and hooking up to Alexa, It’s easy to keep track of the wash cycle the matter where I am. The LG app is simple to set up. You can customize different tones when it’s finished. I think the best part about it is that it only uses high-efficiency liquid detergent or softener you cannot put pods into it, which makes it less expensive when you’re trying to save time and pod and the reservoir is huge. You can adjust how much softener or detergent you want to us per load if you find that you need more or less. The only downfall to this unit is that the inside rubber seal does collect a significant amount of lint on the dry cycle. That being said, it is very simple to clean. We bought a lint brush that is flexible we slip it behind the rubber and run it around the left side and then the right side and it collects everything, the machine is quiet and extremely efficient. The drum is large enough to do loads of bedding or towels with absolutely no problem. A+++++

i made the combo mistake once WM6700HBA is my baby

They sell the description for these like a magic carpet to laundry paradise. Let's face it - there is NO substitute for a real clothes dryer and being able to dry full loads of laundry. With a combo like this you can only wash then traverse to dry a 10 lb. or 11 lb. load of laundry. They also must think that most won't be in the same room as their washer such myself in a small studio apartment. The LG combo put off an incredible amount of heat and humidity into my room while performing the drying portion of it's cycle to the point of being so hot it became unbearable. Also the water pump is trying to pump out any steam that has become water again and collected in the bottom of water drain receptacle. The sound of the pump constantly grunting (pump turns off and on every two minutes) and attempting to pump water out when there is almost none combined with the unbearable amount of heat dissipating into my room / apartment is maddening and needless to say this is NOT the machine for me. My combo experience was so bad I had all but given up on LG until an older gentleman put a Platinum Gray LG with pedestal to give away outside in an alley behind the bakery outlet on 9th street - I called my brother to come get it and myself with his truck right away. I gave it to a friend and his mother. That is what brought me back to LG once again. Inspired by that day - I now have my LG WM6700HBA (which is exactly the same as this without dryer component's) - on it's matching pedestal purchased from and delivered by Lowe's on April 8th and I adore my new baby. I do not allow the thought of having a combo in my mind to be anything more than that, simply a fleeting thought. Everyone considering one of these should be aware of the downside, drawbacks, and limitations these have. It is not gonna take you to laundry paradise. WM6700HBA all the way 💙

Worst piece of crap ever

Our experience- 1 load on the wash and dry setting was 3 hrs 28 minutes. After that time, the clothes were still not dry, put in for a dry-only cycle of 1 hour and 20 minutes, clothes still not dry. Repeated dry cycle 1 hr. and 20 minutes to dry clothes. This is a total of 6 hours and 8 minutes for a single medium sized load of laundry.)

Read the manual first!

This appliance works exactly as expected, by reading the owners' manual, it helped me understand what to expect for the first several loads after a proper set-up. If I would have judged the machine by how the first couple of loads came out, I'd say this unit was a total flop. By the third load on the A.I. Wash and Dry setting, there was no going back to my traditional washer dryer set up ever again! I've done 20 plus loads with it now, and it works great!

Great washer with slow but energy efficient drying

This unit replaced a conventional LG front load washer and gas dryer at a new home. Washing performance and capacity is great. The drying performance is a qualified ok. If you read any reviews that say they have had this model for years, they were either outside North America or had an older version with condensation drying, which is in-between a conventional electric dryer and these new heat pump units, but take way longer to dry than both.

Leaking and broken within 3 months

Sooooo i’ll start out by saying that I am actually a huge LG fan. I own many of their products including a refrigerator, microwave dishwasher and three OLED TVs. I have also priorly owned another older two and one washer dryer combo from LG that unit after about 2 1/2 years of ownership had a faulty sensor, and instead of waiting two weeks to get the machine repaired, I decided to get a newer model. Just recently this machine started to take forever to dry the clothes. It would get stuck on four minutes and then would run until I stopped it. This machine has ran for upwards of 10 hours straight before I was able to stop it when I got home from work. I contacted LG and within three days they did send out a tech to look at the machine. It was then found out that I had a faulty sensor in the machine, but also had a leak that was not noticeable because there was dried up fluids as well as a puddle underneath the machine. They had to alsoreplace the detergent tray. I decided to contact LG since just three months ago. I had to wait two weeks before with my prior LG machine to even get my laundry done and now I have to wait again while this machine is getting repaired. They told me that the only thing that they could do is reimburse me $40 a week to go to a laundromat until the parts came in, they could not expedite the parts nor would they offer any sort of swap for a different laundry machine. I’m having some major buyers remorse with this machine now having two negative experiences with LG two and one washer dryer combos. I would not recommend this machine to anybody nor any two and one combo machine since it seems as though the sensors will get gunk up from lint or anything else in the machine since they are ventless until they get this problem fixed.

[Rewarded Review] Perfect for small families or limited space

Full disclosure: This washing machine LG WD 300CB all in one was provided to me for my honest review. I don’t know anyone working for LG or the Home Depot. As always I will do my best to describe what I like and what I think could benefit from improvement.

[Rewarded Review] FUNTIONALLY FANTASTIC, DYNAMITE H.E. ENERGY SAVER

For as many loads of laundry we do per day/per week, receiving the newest LG ThinQ All-in-One machine was like buying a new car for our home - even has that new (car) smell lol. I have run approximately 15 different cycles of laundry to test out the numerous features/options that are available with the machine and still have not been able to get through all of them. WOW! Most importantly, enormous praise must be given to HOME DEPOT and LG for their superior support and customer service, which truly exceeded my expectations starting with the ordering processes to delivery and pick-up. Every step of the way we'd receive a text + email update with a status of the machine's whereabouts and when the estimated delivery date & time would take place. PROMPT. In fact, so prompt they were early and were in/out our house within 20 minutes, even in the horrible snow storm we were experiencing that day. However, it was not until much later in the evening when I had time to connect the water lines that I noticed the machine arrived damaged. It looked as if it were a rear-end car accident. By then it was after hours so I called HOME DEPOT the following morning to report the damage and file a claim directly with LG while I was on the phone to have the unit replaced. It was a smooth and headache free transaction that took no more than 15 minutes. We received the new unit and pedestal within several business days. AWESOME! On to the highlights about the machine. The amount of time it would take to write a complete, thorough review on this machine would read like a novel so I've outlined some dynamics instead: a) simple, easy to connect, b) highly efficient energy saver, c) well worth the investment, d) uncomplicated mobile app interface, e) huge time saver, f) haven't stopped bragging about it and recommending it to everyone, g) more internal cubic space for washing bulky items, h) free's up space in the laundry room, i) vibrant inner door light vs our old machine, j) excellent at capturing debris in the trap atop the machine - note: lift up the rubber lip on the drum rim to remove waste, k) automatic dispensers for detergent, softener and bleach, l) customizable wash only/dry only/wash-dry cycles manually and through the app, m) senses the load size to efficiently dispense the correct amount of water + drying time, n) magnificent cleaning power, o) the Allergen cycle if you have allergies like we do, p) Tub Cleaning cycle for disinfecting /sanitizing (YAY) vs doing it manually (boo) q) sublimely silent when in use. To reiterate, these are only a few of the highlights. I could go on and on but haven't gotten through all the functions. Now there are a few snarls I've encountered but they're only irks to me: a) Remote Start does not stay on when selected, b) there's a subtle Drum Bang against the side wall that occurs (even when perfectly level) and per the manual can be rectified with an additional attachment that can be purchased, c) cycles are too long if you have more than 1 load to do during the day - Quick Wash is a personal favorite cycle d) app will notify you the cycle has ended yet displays it still has X minutes until the end but doesn't end when those X minutes expire and remains the same until stopped through the app or physically. Overall, there are more positives about the LG 5.0cu/ft Mega Capacity Electric All-in-One vs my quirky hang ups (lol). Believe me, you will not be disappointed investing the time and money in one of these.

[Rewarded Review] A stand alone washer dryer unit that performs exceptionally!

This is the first All-in-One washer/dryer I have ever utilized. This LG 5.0 cu. ft. unit is performing wonderfully above expectations! More specifically, the number one consumer review complaints about this type of combo were dryer completeness and duration of cycles. LG has done a great job of delivering excellent washing, complete drying and decreased wrinkling, even in mixed loads of differing fabric densities. I am now totally dedicated to the brilliant AI cycles that precisely weigh the load for efficiency of necessary water use and tailoring the length of the cycle. The AI brilliantly assesses soil levels with early rinse flushing of the load. The drying commensurately is matched perfectly for optimal outcome. The total time of load start to finish is consistently better than just choosing to wash and then dry by separate cycles! fIf you want to add dryer sheets versus use of computerized dispensing of softener from the detergent/softener dispensing drawer, the LG ThinQ app let's you know precisely when the wash cycle completes and you can use the pause/add button to open the door and add the dryer sheet anywhere during the drying cycle. The added steam to drying is a great wrinkle reducer! In my opinion, I believe some users have mistakenly taken the steam humidification for lack of dryness. However, after timely retrieval from the drying cycle and hanging and folding as necessary, results in minimal wrinkling, if any! Although the 5.0 cu. ft. capacity allows for quite large loads, I highly recommend using that capacity to thoroughly tumble wash and dry a smaller, non-capacity load. Incidentally, I kept my dryer, at least for the review and familiarization of this all in one unit, in case I wasn't satisfied with this unit's results. In some situations, if you have the room, and you also pair your washer/dryer with the pedestal Sidekick washer, you can efficiently maximize two simultaneous loads! Yes, the All-in-One and Sidekick can be run at the same time! Bottom line: this mega unit performs all functions admirably acceptable as a totally indecent stand-alone unit!
