You should offer this for direct connect without the cord. We cut the cord and spliced it and that made it easier to install. The worst part was getting the old sink connection off.in the sink drain-had to cut it off.

Works great. Much quieter than our previous one.

The disposal was easy to install, replacing same unit that was 15 years old.

Yes, is exactly what I was looking for! I had one for 17 years and never had it repaired. It has the anti-jam feature that I love !

The only problem was that the shell of the Garbage Disposal was cracked when I opened the box. I do not believe this will be a problem.

Cheap flange

The sink flange that comes with it is plastic and has a cheap silver finish. I have a black sink and waste Kings design is not compatible with any other sink flanges. I was unable to find a black flange that would work with it, so I returned it. Recommend avoiding if your sink is not silver, or if you don't want a plastic easily scratchable sink drain flange

Lock ring that is turned to secure disposal cracked with minimal effort. Unit did twist off and drop with heavy water volume. Need to repair at some point but does add to the cost.

could be better. The collar is about 2" longer than needed. It is already a tall disposal. This makes it harder to install with a deep sink

I had not realized that Waste King had been purchased by another company. The new garbage disposers are not as good as the older ones (which I have had for over 30 years). Still, they are quiet, powerful, and have no trouble grinding up anything I put into them. I dislike the EZ mount, and the new company that owns Waste King no longer offers the three-bolt mounting that I think is more secure and better. I also don't like not having the option of buying the disposer without the pre-installed power cord. A minor point, but the stopper for the drain provided with the garbage disposer since the new company took over is plastic, cheap, inconvenient, and far inferior to the stoppers provided before the new company took over.

Excellent product and very easy to install

Easy install but a bit loud

Installation was pretty simple as I was replacing a smaller Waste King disposal. The disposal works well so far but it is a bit louder and than the 1/2 HP unit it replaced.

Very strong Garbage disposal

Products is off the hook they are great!!!! This is my second one in 20 yrs.

This is the third Waste King I have put in different homes. They are rock solid and do a great job. I have not had one clog or jam yet.

12 years and still working / Not stainless

Great for the price and 2 units has served us well for 12 years / Customer service was great on warranty. It states these units are stainless steel.

The outer box came with a hole so large and looked terribly shabby. The device itself was broken.

I purchased the Waste King Legend to replace a Waste King that was probably 10-12 years old and was still working. I had a water leak in the sink area from a dishwasher hose. I had to replace kitchen cabinets and flooring so decided to buy a new disposal too. Contractor installed disposal a couple of days age and it seems to be working very well. Since the old one was very dependable I figured this one will be too.

UPGRADED FROM 1/3 HP TO 1 HP EASY TIPS AND TRICKS.

I will recommend watching this video to ease the process and simplify the replacement or upgrade.
