Powerful Mini Garbage Disposal

I was unsure to wether buying this Waste Maid garbage disposal or go with my original Badger 500 that came with the house when I purchased in 2001 and started to leak due to the crack on the side of the housing. After reading the reviews side by side, they both are doing great jobs on disposing the food wastes and have identical rating. Although the Waste Maid size is a bit smaller than the Badger 500, but it is powerful with a quiet motor. And price wise, the Waste Maid is 1/2 of the Badger 500's costs. I like the sound of this machine eating the food wastes. Great garbage disposal to be installed in the house. I am glad that I have purchased the Waste Maid Economy 1/2 HP Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal.

Horrible installation and no customer service

I have no idea how the disposal works because it was installed wrong and now the dishwasher doesn't work. I cannot reach anyone to discuss the problem because they don't communicate either online or on the phone. The last Filipino representative actually gave me the number of Handi - not Angi - I am so over all the hours this has cost me. I thought Angi was trying to improve their company. Oh well - stay away!!!!

everything works great pretty disappointed the splash guard wasn't included in the package. that's kind of a pivotal thing when you don't want anything to fly up and hit your face while using the garbage disposal......

Was a great price and fits perfectly into the space where my previous disposal had been. It matched great with the existing plumbing so it was easy to install. It is a little bit slimmer than my old disposal so I have more room for storage under the sink. It runs so quietly

I just received my Waste Maid disposal. It was delivered quickly and packed nicely. Based on the reviews, I am sure I will be happy with it. I like the 6yr warranty. The slender size is great and will allow more room under my sink. The only challenge I have will be installing it. 67 and arthritic. Being that it is a little heavy for me, I might try using a small step stool for support to put under it while I install. Any suggestions would be helpful.
