Replaced a similar fan from the 90s. This had all the same features. I like that the button to switch from up to down is also up down. On the old fan it was sideways so hard to remember which was which.
Design
The design of the Progress ceiling fan was almost identical to the 22-year-old Concord ceiling fan I was replacing.
The fan blades will not reverse direction when I flip the switch. I have 2 of these and they are both having this issue. They were both installed by a licensed electrician. The manufacturer has not gotten back to me after 24 hours as promised, and they are not picking up the phone. Very disappointed. And hot.

This fan is just what I wanted. It's soundless, moves the warm air by the ceiling down into the living space. It's not big, but it does the job perfectly and was easy to install. Love it. Very happy.

It was a nice fan but I don’t like the color white
came very quickly. The brass fixtures are pretty. The blade look pretty fake, but not something I think I’d ever notice on the ceiling.
