Average toilet

I purchased both an Edgemere and a Mainstream. The Edgemere does not flush as well as the Mainstream and frequently fails to thoroughly flush feces with a single flush. The Mainstream outperforms the Edgemere in this category. The Edgemere has a nice fit and finish, and mounting and assembly are superior to the Mainstreams. Mounting hardware is easier to manage than the Mainstreams. Like the Mainstream, the Edgemere seat cannot be tightened enough to prevent shifting.

Best toilet ever

Should have purchased this toilet years ago. So comfortable, quite tank filling and strong flush yet doesn't use much water. Love it!

The seat cover was cheap and the toilet didn’t come in my desired color nor was it available in dual flush.

What is needed

This stylish necessity has a comfortable sitting, rapid complete flushing and a soft close lid. The installation was easy including all needed in the box. I am appreciative.

Disappointed

I have two AM Champion toilets for some time. Needed a new one for a third half bath room but needed an off white color. This is the only one Lowes had in stock. Wanted a Champion like the other ones I have but didn't want to wait for it. The first thing I noticed after I installed it was the handle. Nothing like the Champion, hollow with no bottom, the look is good but no substance and makes it seem cheap. Now that I have had it for a couple of weeks (purchased 7-18-24) I find I am having to flush it twice many times. Wish I could have gotten a Champion model. I would recommend the Champion models to anyone but not the Edgemere, sorry.

look nice, flush effectively, but has flaws

It looks nice and flushed effectively. It is a manual two flush system. You can hold it for more water if needed. The craftmanship is fairly good. It is flat and stable. However there a few issues.

AWFUL. Zero stars if possible.

Disappointed

This toilet came standard in a new build. You have to hold the handle down to get it to flush properly. Very disappointed.

So far so good. It's in a powder room, so doesn't get much use. Would upgrade the rating to 5 stars, depending on how well it holds up after a few years. Wish it had come with a toilet seat for $254. Needed the 10" rough in, so limited choices there.

Check your product as soon as it comes in

Had to special order a toilet. It shipped direct to my house and it was cracked in several places. It was obvious that it had been dropped somewhere along the way to my house.

Beautiful design and easy installation. My husband did it without any trouble.
