If you are looking for a ventilation fan for your bathroom, Panasonic has a wide variety to choose from. I received the Ventilation fan with dimmer light and nightlight with whisper speed fan. This is the quietest ventilation fan I have ever seen. I actually can't hear the fan motor at all which is amazing. My old fan could be heard throughout the entire house. The instructions made it very easy to install with all of the hardware and brackets included. The best feature that stood out for me was the dimmer light and night light. While walking into the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light came on automatically at my preselected brightness and when I left the room the light turned back off. I actually forgot about the feature so it startled me at first but now I have become accustomed to use and LOVE IT! This ventilation fan made a huge difference in my bathroom and I cannot say enough praise.... Panasonic has raised the bar in bathroom ventilation!

Absolutely love this fan, and having the LED light fixture is a huge plus, much quieter than my original when operating. My only complaint would be the instructions are NOT very clear on exactly where the flange/flex bracket is supposed to go. My husband spent a good 3 hours removing my old bathroom ceiling fan, cutting out drywall, and installing this new fan. But, this was completely DIY, he is not a professional. I recommend buying an exhaust clasp to secure the exhaust pipe to the unit I'd recommend DIYers to watch online videos before installing.

My bathroom has a large space and my five-year-old son often takes very long baths. My family's old exhaust fan currently does not have a built-in light, so it is very inconvenient to use. Luckily, Influenster just sent me a new Panasonic exhaust fan, FV-0511VFL1 WhisperFit DC Retrofit Ventilation Fan with Light, Dimmable LED Light and Nightlight, 50, 80 or 110 CFM, Quiet Energy Star Certified Energy-Saving Ceiling Mount Fan. I'm really pleased to use it. It's really easy install. I almost don't hear any noise from this fan. The light from the fan is also very clear. Its motor is also very powerful, moisture from using warm water in the bathroom quickly dries in just about 15 to 30 minutes. I will introduce my friends to this great product.

I needed a new bathroom / light since I am remodeling my home. I picked this one out because it was a nice and simple design. I was a bit nervous to install this since I have never done one before. I have done other electrical work, just not a bathroom fan. I read the instructions and they were clear to follow. The bracket part made it much more simple to install - it can adjust to how you need it. It was a fairly simple install. The light is nice and a good brightness. The fan is quiet but powerful. I am pleased with this bathroom fan.

EZ bracket not easy

EZ bracket is not for a retofit installation. Easy to install on joist side, working in the blind on the opposite side. Screws were flat and needed pilot holes drilled. Change screws if you want to attach opposite side. On line videos pan to an atic view when securing opposite side, I can see the reason why. No 3/8 inch knockout plug provided to protect wires going into box. Poor alignment assit with fastners. Night light a waste unless you have three switches available.

Wow! First of all, let me just state that this was the last puzzle piece to finishing my bath remodel and it delivered! The fan is so quiet you about don't know it's on. The light I was afraid wouldn't be bright, but I was mistaken and couldn't have been more wrong. It's so bright! The installation was simple and a breeze. Any homeowner could put it in! Perfect combo, great job Panasonic!

I got to try this Panasonic whispering bathroom fan courtesy of Influenster. It arrived quickly and came with everything needed for the installation. I have a very old, very loud bathroom fan and was so happy to get this new one. Instructions are easy to follow, and the fan can be set to higher or lower settings. It runs quietly and has a dimmable light and nightlight setting. Great addition to my bathroom. I would reccooperate it.

This Panasonic ventilation fan is easy to install and has a nice airflow. There is a minimal noise level and the dimmable LED light offers a bright and energy efficient light. I highly recommend this fan if you are looking for a ventilation fan with a dimmable light.

The fan meets expectations. It's quiet, I appreciate the flow adjustment option, and the dimmable LED light seals the deal (hooked up to a single pole, dual-switch with dimmable option). The installation instructions kept this from being a 5-star review. They need an overhaul. I had to watch several YT videos to *try* get an idea of the correct placement of the Flex-Z piece above the drywall ceiling, and how both the exhaust/power component and the larger fan component were affixed to it with screws.

The best bath fan I've ever installed.

Excellent. retro install into 12 inch on center joists, not a problem. The bracket is the most solid install bracket on the market. Super quiet, super efficient removal of moisture. Impressive unit.

Nice Fan. Easy Install.

This fan is very easy to install, both in new construction and in existing buildings. The cfm is adjustable and it is relatively quiet at any of the settings. The light brightness is suitable for a normal size bathroom.

High quality, quiet - well thought out install system

Heads and shoulders above the other brands in every respect. Installation bracket, chassis design make it easy. High quality metals and plastics. Moves air really well and does so quietly. Suitable for both retrofit and new install. Make sure you have separate circuits for lighting and fan.

Damper doesn't work

This was supposed to be an improvement. Now I may as well have a hole in the ceiling that just leaks air all day from attic. The damper flap doesn't work. I bought 2 of these and the same result is occurring. They were installed by an electrician in winter, now that it's summer, the fail is evident. Too late for me to return. I do not recommend. They had such promise too. Good light, suction, & quiet when operating. Took thermal images & there is a 20 degree difference. They won't upload.

Very quiet fan/lights.

Had two of these installed in our remodeled bathroom. One over the shower and one in the "potty room" Very quiet and the light is bright. Didn't use the night light feature as we would have to pull new wiring for both. A little bright for us too. Very satisfied with these!

Outstanding product! Very easy to install in tight 2 x6 space, super quiet, and great lighting. Significant upgrade over my old unit. And, I love the versatility of the 50/80/100 cfm options if I choose to enlarge my powder room toilet in the future.

I found that the WhisperFit fan was extremely well designed for retrofit installations with and without attic access. The Flex-Z bracket is really a clever idea, and the ability to connect power and ducting from inside the room simplifies the install. I replaced 4 existing 100 CFM Broan fans from the 1990’s with these and they are much quieter and look better. Note that the WhisperFit fan has the duct and power at the same end, while the Broan has them at opposite ends.

A little harder to install (retrofit) than expected. The self tapping screws going into the rafters take some significant pressure and electric drill, which is tough on a ladder with insulation and drywall in place. Hard to see the inside screws. Other than that, not too bad. It would be nice if they would include a clamp for the vent hose and you might also need a clamp for the romex going into the power box. Also, for retrofitting it requires another switch and power line for the night light. That kills dyi for me and significantly increases the price so I omitted it. A different setup using existing wiring and I would give five stars. Other than that, completely doable dyi project. Fan works nicely upon completion. Looks great

I’m sorry to say the “Whisper”fit fan is not very quiet at all. It’s also not very powerful. I bought two (one for each bathroom); they’re both noisy and the mirrors still fog up when we shower. I’m sorry to say after spending good money expecting a quiet, strong fan, they’re neither quiet nor strong.
