Impossible to clean the exterior. Enamel started to flake off. Would not recommend.

Handle gets too hot to handle!

I just received my kettle. It looks beautiful, but not practical! The handle is a problem. By the time the water boils the handle gets too hot to handle. I have to grip it with a towel to be able to touch it, let alone grip it tight to pour the water. That’s a major flaw. As well, the handle is not flexible, making it very hard to get your hand inside to wash and clean the interior, the handle is in the way.

Love the product

You know I bought it for its name, but I’m surprised at how good the product is. It has a decent heavy base on it and it’s made of stainless steel really well constructed and looks beautiful. I think it was worth the money paid for it. The whistle brings back all memories of the good old days for me.

I have to admit I really bought this because it looks so nice but was amazed by the quality of construction got a heavy bottom base it s made of stainless steel and it s pretty organic. Design strongly made brings back. Great memories of listening to the cattle boil and looks great on the stove top, I really think it s worth the price

Another terrific SMEG item

As with all the SMEG small appliances I own this kettle doesn't disappoint. It has a nice, retro appearance and works well. I've purchased many SMEG pans from Everything Kitchens and I am always happy with my purchases and their fast shipping.

I bought one and it is not worth the money. Poor quality, paint pealing and I approached SMEG. Full of excuses to assist and all blame on the way we used the product. The paint is really not good quality. Display only, not for use. Really not recommend it. Cheaper options

Smeg cheap Chinese S***.Think twice, cheap product

Cheap Chinese s***.Kettle paint burns and stains black on the sides. Top opening lid colour cracks. Buy Cadac, cheaper and will last years without any defects. SMEG overrated. Send it to SMEG and apparently my wife is the idiot for burning the kettle. The paint cracking where the lids clips in is normal water and tear. 6 months old. Well done SMEG. You make a killing!
