Easy to set up and use. Has made a difference in comfort level. Recommend.

This is my 4th replacement unit

In the last 8 years using the Whynter Energy Star Dehumidifier. ANGEL with Whynter has made getting a replacement unit the easiest one yet. I hope it last for many years to come.

Really dries the basement. Use the pump and the drain hose. Literally just check it every 250 hours to reset it. Filter light comes on to clean and reset. If you change the water bucket, you have to shut off 1st.

Works well Text humidity out of the air in the basement

Working great…the only issue is making sure the internal pump tubing is completely inserted inside the collar fitting to prevent water leakage.

It works incredibly well at dehumidifying my entire basement, and is slightly quieter than the broken GE unit it replaced. It has an integrated pump and gravity feed, so it was easy to hook it up for drainage. It has been running along with zero interaction from me since over a month, now.

I really like it, it's not loud even on turbo speed. When the pump engages it still isnt that loud.

Auto defrost and great pump

I really like the dehumidifier. Its quiet but you will hear the pump when it kicks in, but thats expected. Can pump vertical 15 ft. The pump kicks in when the bucket is full.

Works well, easy to set up. Pump is a bit noisy, but nothing problematic. Hopefully it lasts!

Very Effective Dehumidifier

This dehumidifier works really well. The only downside is that the bucket is on the small side ( I don't use the pump function); so it's necessary to empty it more frequently than would be the case with a larger model. On the plus side, because this dehumidifier and bucket are smaller, they're relatively easy to move around/lift. Sylvane did a superb job with the packing and shipping--as always.

This unit is a wonderful ptoduct! I have a finished basement with Extra Master bedroom, Office, Work Out Section, Pool Table, etc. I believe you can understand why Humidity Control is so important for us.

Out of the box, read set-up and operating instructions and on the first full tank of condensate the pump failed to operate in "auto" mode. Consequently flooding the carpet area 4 ft. diameter surrounding unit! Under close observation we monitored the second tank and pump failed to go on automatically. So we switched to "auto shutoff" upon filling the tank and empty it manually. Very frustrating to order this unit as a replacement to a failed unit and still experience problems!!!
