This vent a hood is the bomb! The lights are nice and bright and this thing runs like a jet. It is quiet considering it has this kind of power. No regrets on this suction monster!!! Love it!

Good range hood. It was easy to install by the contractors. Our existing duct is 4" round so we have to reduce it from the 7" to 4". Not sure if this reduced the suction and increased the noise, but it is not as powerful in drawing out the Asian stir-fry smells as I would have liked. It is also noisier than I expected but not worse than our old microwave range hood. I would also have like the buttons to be more modern looking. Maybe use metallic buttons instead of plastic.

Great unit but high pitched whine at low speed

Works great. The fan speed settings are where I want them, and the fan is quiet. The lights have good brightness. Feels like a quality product. The stainless is hard and I think will be dent resistant. The only disappointment is that there is a periodic whine on low speed, which is too bad because that's the speed I would use the most. I'm pretty sure it is not the ducting, although the ducting may interact with the motor to amplify the sound. You can hear the sound quickly disappear when you switch from low speed to middle speed.

We have a similar one at our other home and love it. Sleek and stylish. Well made. We purchased this one for a home we are building. Will update once installed.

Love my new Zephyr range hood, works great and it's beautiful! The reason I docked it 1 star us because there were a few small dents which do not show after install. My installer tells me they were due to lack of proper handling of the sheet metal during manufacturing due to lack of proper training.

First one had a big dent on top, so I returned it. Second one had a dent on the side. Zephyr need to start using thicker sheet metal and they need to improve their quality control standards. Aside from that annoyance, it does the job pulling air away from our gas range. The lights are decent quality and the controls are very intuitive. Install was pretty straightforward. The only other potential downside is that the fans sometimes make this UFO-like whirring sound and I’m not sure if that’s normal.
