installed an XB110H IN MASTER BATH 10+ YEARS AGO AND WORKS EXCELLENT. INSTALLED ANOTHER XB110H IN MAIN BATH AND IT RUNS ALL THE TIME EVEN WHEN HUMIDITY IS NOT PRESENT ADJUSTING THE SENSITIVITY SETTING DOES NOTHING

Broan fan- reliably good.

Nice, quiet fan. It removes smells effectively and fast and sounds like a light hum, not annoying at all. I will get more for other bathrooms.

Excellent quality. Purchased to replace a fairly large older unit. Arrived very well packaged and well protected for transport. Was a little pricey compared to some, but quality was worth it.

It is not compatible with a 4” duct. It is very loud. We used the vortex converter. Very disappointed. It is louder the the 12 year old one we replaced.

This is the second Broan-NuTone bath fan I have purchased. The first with a light, and this one without. The installation is straight forward, just closely follow the instructions and carefully look at the installation pictures. Getting the old exhaust fan out was more work than putting in the new one.

Very satisfied, Exceptionally quiet fan. I used a simple push button timer, Defiant Model # 30469, from Home Depot and it works fine. I read that may installations would not work with timers and people ended up using mechanical timers. This timer works fine - NOTE that this fan has a ONE speed fan, NO light, and NO humidity sensor control; so those features might complicate the installation and the success or failure of a timer etc. I used an pre-insulated wire wound plastic duct, 25 feet in length, also from Home Depot , Master Flow Model # F6IFD6X300, and had TROUBLE pulling it through the fan framing to attach to the fan exhaust piece and the pushing it back into the attic (in-house installation, NOT installed from attic). The opening in the fan framing is for a 6 inch duct, but insulated duct is like 9 or 10 inches in diameter, so it took a lot of pushing and shoving to get it back up in the attic once the fan exhaust piece was attached. Un-insulated ducting would not be a problem. Would buy again - It is SUPER quiet which is what I wanted.

The fan is extremely quiet. We use it in our master bath. I can barely hear it over the sound of the fan in the master. The air movement is also extremely good - our mirror isn't fogged after showers any longer. Pros: Quiet. Air movement. Cons: Takes about 15 seconds to spin up.

Great fan

This was replacement for 15 year old fan. The fan was easy to install. Hardest part was removing old unit. Works great clearing the humidity from a moderate size bathroom (about 12 x12 with 10' ceiling) in no time. Also very quiet. Not not so quite that you forget it is on as I saw in some reviews.

Silent and Powerful!!

Replaced my old fan with the XB110 because its the best and quietest. When i first put it on i thought i did something wrong, it was spinning but there was almost no noise. This thing is almost silent, a fly buzzing by makes more noise.

The installation system was sturdy, adaptively easy to use and well engineered to mount. Purchased for quiet operation and sealed DC long-life motor. The unit works extremely well. Instead of just defogging mirrors due to the shower steam, the Broan XB110 XL quietly and efficiently removes the vapor continuously so there is no mirror fogging to clear up. No need for extended running after showering. Highly recommended.
