Cooking ventilation fan
The on/off button makes it convenient to use and it's powerful enough to vent the smoke from cooking
Would purchase again
Easy to install, preforms as advertised
Great products was very good and useful and just right!
This fan was installed in a trash room in a Wawa because a ventilation fan was needed.
Good

Good fan
This is a replacement for the one we put in 15 years ago that finally died. Basically only needed fan & motor but cheaper than finding a replacement motor/fan
Definitely rebuy product
In my apartment business
Saved the day
Perfect replacement for the job I needed to complete. Had this in stock and staff was helpful and courteous. Thank you!
Thru the Wall Kitchen Exhaust Fan
Better than the older models with the spring loaded door . (Pull chain to close) Weather proof external hood with an internal wind block. Comes with it's own electrical junction box. Adjustable for wall thickness. Can paint the iside grell to match your wall if you want. Grease filters are available too.
Good Exhaust
It does the job pulling a lot of air. I might get another one.
I would not by this product again.
I installed this fan in workshop area along side my primary exhaust fan just to draw some fresh air through the space. It works ok but is very noisy. It would be nice if it had 2 speeds.
Works hard lots of noise
Very loud if you want too move alot of air this is your fan. Not good for occupied space. Had to buy a 3 speed switch cost as much as fan too slow it down
Good product
Works well, a little noisy, but not bad.
would recommend
great price fast delivery, and works great
Not as shown and described. The outside vent is NOT painted, it's plain galvanized metal. However a spray can of Rust-Oleum and you can make it whatever color you want.

This works great and pulls all the smell out when cooking. Fits right in our wall and easy install with some electrical knowledge. Is a bit louder than expected but doesn’t bother me. The button feature is great if you do not have a switch. Be sure to purchase the filter as it does not come with one. Unit is bare metal on outside so painted color of house and added molding for a cleaner look. Perfect for a tiny home or small kitchen with no space for a large kitchen exhaust fan that takes up cabinet space.
Good airflow
This is a good fan to exhaust kitchen odors outdoors. Not the quietest fan available but if you dont mind the noise and want to install a decent fan, this should work.

I installed this in my detached man cave which I wanted to smoke cigars in. I wouldn't say installation was difficult but I would say it's not for the average DIYer. Cutting the hole wasn't the easiest job in my case due to my cardboard stencil being damaged. The box was fine but for some reason the stencil was all messed up. Nevertheless I was able to cut a hole that worked. If you don't get the interior and exterior holes lined up perfectly.... use the inside hole as the guide as the back housing will cover any imperfections if you have to fix alignment with the exterior hole. The thing that I found proved to be the most difficult was lining up the fan housing with the exterior housing and keeping the fan from hitting the sides just as others have said in their reviews. Broan could really do themselves a favor and use slightly thicker, less malleable duct and they'd probably get a higher review average. This is the sole reason that I dropped a star. I also installed the Broan variable speed wall control found at https://www.Home Essentials Direct.com/gp/product/B004Q01PQI which is helpful to keep the sound levels down a bit but be cautioned that you can only turn it down about half way before the spring powered damper closes due to lack of air pressure. I may look into finding a weaker spring to fix this and will report back if successful. I have also noticed that the wall control causes the fan to hum which becomes more pronounced the more you turn down the speed. Installation took about 4 hours but would have been shorter had I not needed to rewire my wall to accommodate the fan and controller. Since I didn't have a junction between the two studs where I installed the fan, I went ahead and added another outlet to my room instead of just making a junction with a cover so that was kind of a win/win. One thing I feel that should be mentioned is the negative air pressure effect that this fan has on your room. Remember that the air has to be replaced from somewhere so if you room is particularly air tight and you aren't getting the performance you were expecting, it may help to crack a window or door but keep in mind that if it's really hot or cold outside you will be sucking in hot or cold air. It may be a good idea to wire up a timer or thermostat so that you don't suck all of the conditioned air out of your room/house. Performance wise it works as expected. It pulls the cigar smoke right out. This was installed in a 12x14 room and easily kept up with just me smoking but the real test will come soon when my brothers come over and there's 3 or more smoking. We'll see how it holds up to that. Overall I am happy with the fan and it serves its purpose well but be cautioned........ this thing is not quiet, but I knew that going into this. For me the sound level is not a big deal as my sound system easily drowns it out and it's not so loud that you couldn't hear someone using regular conversation volume.

I prefer quiet bathroom fans but this is a basic unit, so noisy. But with that said, it's one of the only through-the-wall fans I could fine and it does the job. Install is simply: cut the hole, wire it to a switch, install inside unit, install baffle/vent outside. I caulked that outside vent unit to keep the water from getting into the hole.
