Great Purchase for the family

Great purchase, we are way more comfortable and spread out when we go ice fishing. I take my kids with me and with the buddy heater and this we don't have to feel like Randy on A Christmas Story (bundled up so we can't put our arms down).

Really nice tent. Easy setup. My son has one and I had went with him and had to have one.

Great Tent

Great ice tent, keeps heat in and less condensation inside. Although this tent is rated at 3-4 man tent, 2 adults with all the gear inside was perfect.

The review

Good money but good size and quality. Two large 6'/250lb old dudes have enough room. Well insulated, didn't have to run heater at 15F even when windy. Don'd know how long the bag handles will last but if don't abuse should be fine. Also, very easy and quick to setup and take down!

So many good things to say, they won't fit here.

After using an entry-level hub house the past few years, I invested in the Eskimo Fatfish 949 Insulated. And I am happy to say, the quality of construction, useable features, and fair price far outweigh the obvious larger size. I am more than happy with my purchase, and allowed me to take advantage of our less then stellar ice season here in MN this year.

Hope never to need another. Should last a long time.

Super roomy and warm, fit 5 people very well could probably get 6 in there. Stays warm with the insulation. Setup and pack up both very simple which is great for the cold temps in Wisconsin! Eskimo is my go to brand for ice fishing! Highly recommend this product!

Insulation is great, poles and straps not so muc…

Insulation works great and keeps inside warm. The walls are not very sturdy and collapse easily in moderate wind. The deluxe straps buckle broke as soon as I tightened them down. Terrible quality with the straps and I’m fairly disappointed.

Super easy to set up, It is very roomy, I really like that I can stand all the way up inside I am 6'3" and there is a little room to spare. I have used it three times now and last weekend the wind tested it the most yet. It held up well as expected. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good four person shelter

Not sure if this is normal but the shelter seems to be water repellent everywhere except one panel on the roof. It becomes saturated and drips continually. It does have a lot of room though
