False advertising

The box stated that it would cool a room of 559 square feet. Our bedroom is 270 square feet and it did not cool the room. We relocated to another bedroom that is about 120 square feet. That is false advertising,

My HVAC died in the house. I quickly replaced it with this unit and it was like a miracle.

I like the design, color, and minus the adjustments I had to make it is easy to install. I wish the unit would be colder as I expect. I sized the room by area and got a little larger BTU. In a heatwave like this 3rd one in the Big Apple I was comfortable. No draining is a wonderful plus for the AC. I’m pleased. The Bat den is cool, not COLD. I would recommend to a friend. The value and output are on point. No feeling of regret.

Friedrich ZoneAire Series 13,000 BTU Portable

It does a decent job if you are in an enclosed room. If you have to use this in an open area, its not great, basically just takes the edge off the heat. I would not use any lower than the 13,000 BTUs in any room. Horrible design. The hose keeps popping off the base and never stays attached to the panel. I highly recommend buying the insurance, ive had them out several times to put those pieces back together again.

Very happy with product

The air conditioner is lovely to look at. It was very easy to set up and it is pretty quiet. It cool the whole room 700 sq the dehumidifier component is lovely to pulls a lot of the moisture out, but it doesn’t drip at all.

Works well. A loud unit. Remote Wi-Fi does not work. Forget it. Also Note: ALL portable AC units work basically at half the BTU rating on box for a bunch of reasons. Keep that in mind when figuring out what you need. Consider a windows unit if possible.

Great cooling and quieter than expected

The CCP12SA really cooled our southern-exposure 18’ x 15’ living room well and quickly, and it’s much quieter than expected. This unit feels like it can handle very hot, humid weather when summer arrives — if not, we’ll revise our rating, yet don’t currently think that will be necessary at all.

Difficult to Install

This unit was very very hard to install. I was hoping to be able to move it around during the course of the summer, but I’m concerned I won’t be able to get it back in the window. If your windows are not brand new up to date vinyl, then stay away from this unit.

This AC cooled off my living room during the hottest days of the year. Very satisfied with my product.

Not so COOL!!

I was not at all satisfied with this Portable Friedrich AC unit. It was easy to set up and has casters so it can be moved/wheeled around easily however, it did not cool the room to the temperature it was set at and was very, very noisy when running. The unit constantly goes into a pause mode where it stops blowing cool air and I am not sure what causes this as the room thermostat is still reading higher then the unit is set for. The other drawback is that it needs to have whatever water accumulates inside the unit drained every day or two. The port where the water needs to be drained from is at the back of the unit almost touching the floor making it impossible for the water to be collected without tilting the uniting from an elevated step/ledge so the collection container is below the outflow port!! Very inconvenient!

Unit was a return. was missing the entire bottom of the box, and the FED EX guy literally wheeled over to me. LOL... I refused delivery.

Quiet, does provide needed cooling. However the hose connection is terrible at both the unit and window. At the unit the hose does not stay attached to the band. If you move the unit it comes apart. At the window the hose to the sliding board does not fit snuggly and the warm air escapes back into the room. We had to use a towel to prevent this.

A portable a.c. that meets my needs

Great compact size. Not too noisy. Fairly easy to install hose to window (I needed help). Cools large bedroom in 20-30 minutes. One of the most expensive but worth it.

Should of bought unit to put in wall

I was not aware that you could not return this product, i placed it in my bedroom and the hose was totally in the way of my sleeping area in my bedroom. tried to return it but was denied, this is the last time I buy an ac unit at Pc Richards.
