Perfect size for what we needed. Doesn’t take up too much counterspace. Easy to use and clean. Always buy GE appliances as they’re dependable.

Was in a crunch when our microwave went out before the holiday and this thing has been a life saver! For the price it has an extra safety feature that doesn’t allow you to open the door while the timer is still counting down. I like it because it makes you stop the heating process before you open the door!

Spacious interior for a compact microwave!

This microwave has a roomy interior for a compact countertop unit. My only complaint is that the Start button is not as prominent and well placed as on other microwaves so it's not as easy to just hit Start.

Just enough power for my needs

I purchased this smaller model of microwave when my old, high-watt one conked out. I realized I only use it for reheating, primarily. My complaint is the manual that came with it was not specifically written for the model I bought. For instance, I still do not know what the “codes” are on Reheat. But it did tell me how I could dismantle the childproof door lock, so that helped.

So far, the microwave works great. I especially like the childproof lock on the door when it is operating.

Just don’t

My first one lasted just over a year. Made horrible grinding noise. Was difficult getting GE to help as just a month out of warranty. They gave me $100 toward a new one which cost $169. Seven months after using the new one ( same model) its doing same thing! I was on phone for an hour trying to get GE to honor the warranty! They are giving me a coupon to buy another but I have to buy GE. I do not recommend this microwave and disappointed with GE as I have been adamant about buying GE for many years.

Great small microwave

Nice compact microwave. We use it for almost everything. A little small for microwave popcorn, but we get it to work.

Won't buy this microwave oven again

The first time I purchased this oven it lasted six years. I loved it - it was perfect for my needs so I purchased the same model again - it stopped working after two years. I was surprised that it didn't last very long but I liked it so purchased the same oven again (#1). Over a two week period the door would stick periodically and was hard to open so Abt replaced it at no charge. Received oven #2. Unpacked it, plugged it in and NOTHING - it didn't work. Abt replaced it again at no charge (#3). This one works but is very loud - unlike the others I had before. I will not buy this product again.
