Too hot to touch… literally!

I trusted picking a “Crockpot” brand for its known quality, however, this one severely let me down. I loved the color and was the first reason why I picked it. I initially thought it was user error as to why everything I cooked in it burnt, even on low. Though I’m quite savvy with my other crockpots I’ve had in the past. I tried using it again after months of not trying it. The food never cooked, though the outside of the unit was so hot you couldn’t even touch it. I’m terrified to trust using it again while I’m not home, afraid it may have an element bad and catch on fire.

Cook and carry

This crockpot is sooo convenient! I love the cook and carry style. It is so convenient when contributing to pot lucks. This crockpot has a heat control carrying bag making it easy to easily transport my crockpot from one place to another. It also has safety clips on the lid to keep it from falling. This product also has programmable timers making it so easy to use! Absolutely love this thing!

What happened to Crock-Pot?

I just replaced my slow-cooker by Crock-Pot with the “updated” version of what I had. Mine is on the fritz and I didn’t wanted to either overcook the food or turn off halfway through the cooking cycle. For reference my original slow cooker was approximately 18 years old. The new replacement, is so cheaply made compared to its counterpart it’s amazing. What happened to you Crock-Pot?

The slow cooker is amazing! My husband and I used it to make chili for a cookout! We had to put it in the backseat of his truck and that lid didn’t let ANYTHING spill out of there! It’s also super easy to clean and doesn’t stain easily! One wash and that’s all it took to get rid of the chili mess! It also warms up nicely without burning anything in the pot! The little food warmer is a blessing as well! We got to keep some of the chili in there so we could have some for ourselves after the cookout! Hehe!

Fire Hazard Don’t buy this burns every time.

I have used this crockpot three times paid a lot of money for it and each time it’s burnt the first time on high and the second two times on low no in between. I hate it. Hate it hate it and say don’t buy it. I don’t even have the receipt to take it back or I would trust me. I bought it just before Christmas Crockpot used to be the best I had mine for years years and I 80 years old but if I want to make something the night before and let it cook through the night on low I don’t wanna worry about it burning within four hours the lowest setting and has or is it six I can’t remember that’s I haven’t used it in months I just don’t buy this particular product. At least this white one I waited for white all my life almost finally got it and what did I get nothing yuck. Please trust me come on over and I’ll let you try mine before you buy it. I’ll even sell it to you for half prize if you want it I’m being serious it’s not a crockpot.

Cooks Extremely Hot - Warm and Low don’t work

I bought this crock pot at Kohls in January of 24. I was replacing a basic one with one I thought would be better because it had more features. I quickly learned that this crock pot cooks EXTREMELY HOT. The first time I used it, I was making soup. I set it on low for 8 hours. I about 3 hours later, I noticed it was boiling! So I turned it to the warm setting. About an hour later it was still boiling, despite being on ‘warm.’ I thought maybe it was a fluke. Today we had a potluck at work. I took meatballs in sauce. At 7:30am I set it on low for 8 hours. I left for a meeting and my coworker text me at 9am and said was boiling. I told her to set it to warm and about 30-45 later she text to say it was still boiling, so she turned it off. This crock pot is such a disappointment. I cannot trust this crock pot to cook a meal while I am at work. I wish I hadn’t thrown the box away because I cannot return it. It’s a waste of $80.

Beautiful color

Love this version of the slow cooker. Easy to set and forget with the settings. 7 qt holds a bit more than the 6, easier since we had moments the 6 would overflow. The rubber gasket on the lid really holds in the liquid unlike the cheaper manual versions. It’s absolutely beautiful with the off white scheme. The lid stays in place with the locks, great for storage. Cleans just as easily as any other crock. Absolutely love this one.
