Worked as advertised
Your in control it works simply, one can over simplify this delivers to the temp. as thee fans are supposed to.
It is performing well so far. The thermostat has worked well and it is making a difference. It moves air well though rather small and simple.

For what I wanted it works great ,the original thermostat that comes with it works good and I am satisfied with the operation and would recommend this fan .

The fan is not dummy proof. The instructions tell you, almost in fine print, that there are two ways to mount the brackets onto the fan. I initially mounted the brackets the way shown in the picture on the box, only to fortunately find out the fan blades hit the screw that was attaching the bracket to the fan. This would have been a major disaster had I not found this out before connecting the electricity. Fortunately I did and followed the instructions for attaching the brackets the other way, and the fan worked fine. Overall, I am happy with the production of the fan as it is quiet. I would have given it five stars except for this detail that could have been a major issue.
[Rewarded Review] Help remove the heat!
This Attic fan with thermostat is great for helping keep the attic cooler. The 1,650 CFM attic fan moves the air out the gable helping keep the cooling cost down. The gable fan is easy to install, easy to set up with the thermostat settings, and it runs quitely. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to remove the heat from the attic during the summer heat.
[Rewarded Review] Hot Air Mover
This fan works so well in the attic that it has lowered the temperature in the upstairs bedrooms and hallway. The worst part of this easy installation in the attic was actually getting in the attic in August when the outside temperature was above 90 degrees. You broke a sweat very quickly. This fan fit into the existing gable with very little modification. The fan is well made and the temp gauge that it activates off from is easy to set up and the most important part is that the fan runs quietly. Its well made and should last a long time keeping the hot air from accumulating in the attic and thus keep the over-all temp of the house cooler.
[Rewarded Review] Excellent thermostat controlled attic fan
This unit is very nicely out together. It looks great and will really help take the heat edge off in the attic above my garage. The convenient attached adjustable thermostat makes operation of this fan automatic saving you from having to climb into the attic to turn it on. It is hardwired to your circuit. I hooked this up and tested it. The stat locks the unit right on and as the temp drops below set point the unit Ramps itself down. Tons of great airflow that will exhaust the hot air out of my attic. I have an electrician scheduled for two weeks out to run me a dedicated circuit into my attic. The old one had an extension cord with a light switch on it. This unit will be a definite upgrade! Eventually I will add it to my smart home system so I know what and when the fan is on and monitor the temperature.
[Rewarded Review] Did an awesome job
We wanted this ventilation fan to put in our outbuildings to control the moisture and heat. Mold had started to grow on the roof ceiling. That isn't good when you keep expensive tools and equipment in the area. The fact that it has a thermostat is even better for the application in which I choose to use it. Wiring was easy. But if you aren't familiar with electrical wiring I would recommend hiring an electrician. Safety reasons. This thing really made a difference.
[Rewarded Review] Cool down your attic
The Maxx air electric gable mount power attic fan is a game changer. We have been looking for one of these to help cool the attic space during the summer months. We choose to have an electrician install and he commented that the instructions were very clear. I love the ability to set the thermostat and the fan just goes on automatically. The fan is mounted in the gable end of the attic space .
