Purchased this unit to cool down my 4,000 square foot outbuilding in the humid Ohio summer. It's like having central air in that building now. The price was far better than competitors for a "refurbished" unit. It came in its original packaging and looked like it had never been used. Extremely happy with the purchase. It also arrived within a week of placing the order.

Wish I had it years ago!

My warehouse gets hot, 130° on a bad day. This cooler is a wonder.

This is super nice. I bought two of them. U can put ice and water in it, to help cool the air coming out of the fan. It’s not a misting type fan, but more of a cool air fan.

The items was not working as I expected and at the end I lost money because I have to pay for shipping and they deducted taxes too

I would buy this product again and would go through Sylvane.

The second unit I received was perfect and cools extremely well. Here in northern CA the humidity is 20 to 30 percent so the unit can really do well, and it does. You may notice that I said second unit, allow me to explain. the first unit came as scheduled, but it was missing parts and had some damage, which compromised its operation, though the shipping box was perfect. I called Sylvane and talked with Mark and explained the problems with the unit and he quickly arranged for another unit to be shipped. Since I no longer had the box he agreed to ship the unit first and I could use that box for the return. That happened very quickly and I was able to get the box on the old unit on the same day, and Mark arranged for Fed Ex to pick up the unit. I wish I could recommend Fed Ex but they were horrible and continued to miss dates for pick up. Mark handled this well and now I have a very satisfactory unit keeping my rescue animals cool in this 100+ degree weather. Thank you Mark and Sylvane, you are problem solvers and stand by your products even when the problem was likely not yours but the manufacturer. You made me a very satisfied customer!

Just what we needed for garage!

#sweepstakes. We built a 32x40 garage so wanted to cool it off on these 90+ degree days. On the one side we put a freestanding air conditioner but it's only 12000 btu so can't keep it cool enough. The other side we put this cooler in! The garage stays pretty cool! The side with the evaporative cooler is only a couple degrees warmer! It's working out great!!

Works Beyond Expecatations

We have a huge shop with almost 20 foot ceilings in a big metal building. It has been CRAZY hot (105+) and while this might not sound amazing, within 10 feet of this cooler it stays the same temperature as outside! So for reference, before the cooler it was well over 10 degrees or more HOTTER than outside!

If needed, I would buy this product again.

Great addition to our Dallas backyard patio

Love my Hessaire 5300 swamp cooler. Makes sitting outside on our back patio in Dallas TX in the middle of August more comfortable than sitting inside in air conditioned space. Also, I had an issue with my order which was totally my mistake and the customer service representative fixed it for us without any push-back.

I'll keep upgrading to newer model

I've always been a hessaire fan since first discovered to side cooling in my garage. This is my 3 hessaire portable swamp cooler. Tried the portacool once and in a week sold it and went back to hessaire. I like the fact that I don't need to adjust water drip to get the cooling effect I need. Hessaire is a plug and play unit that caught my attention and no need for water adjustment.

You don't know what you are missing

We live in deep south Texas and use this unit on our back patio. Until we received this unit our back patio was essentially unlivable. When it is 100 outside this unit drops it to about 75 and is even better when we add a couple of frozen jugs to the reservoir. I just bought another one for my USAF son-in-law and daughter who recently got transferred to Tucson. They love theirs as well.

VERY impressive evaporative cooler. 5 star in my opinion.

Relatively quiet, even on high speed. Easy to move thanks to 5" casters, and the casters are heavy gauge, so have robust feel instead of flimsy. Plastic body is decent gauge too, so again there is no flimsy feel. The baffles fit very well, and are easy to remove, for access into the unit. The air stream has plenty wide enough spot coverage, and the throw on all 3 speed settings is impressive. The oscillating feature triples the air flow spread, so is a great feature for cooling wider spaces. Quality seems on par with some some of the commercial units, so the reasonable price makes me believe I made a good decision.

Absolutely love it!! Shipped to me with no problems, wheels and hose adapter were stored right where they were supposed to be. Unit is large but not heavy to move around. Refilling is easy using a 5 gallon bucket. There is a gauge on the front of the unit so you can see how full the tank is. As with all evap coolers, the unit does need to be placed near an open window or door. I have mine sitting cross ways between two large windows. Once the tank is filled, turn the pump on, (pump is very quiet) and let it run for 30 minutes to saturate the pads, then turn the fan on. Fan is a little loud which is my only con. This is a terrific cooler and I would certainly buy again. Thanks Sylvane! I no longer need to go up two stories to service the cooler on my roof. It's important to note, evap coolers work best in a dry environment

Changed my summer time life forever!

A absolute lifesaver!! We live in the central valley ca. We love having get togethers with friends and family but the heat here in the hundreds always put a uncomfortable downer on them, we got one last summer and WOW! It cooled the outside so well we actually were comfortable! So we added another one can't wait to feel the difference. The unit is pretty quiet not bulky or stick out like a sore thumb, easy to get set up ready to go. So glad that we got these and will be considering buying them as gifts for our family members that love the outside but hate the hot summer oven heat outside!

Great Machine poor packaging

Great cooler!!! Got the room temperature down by 15-20 degrees with the help of a floor fan and an open garage door. Our print shop uses heat presses so this was a necessary purchase. Plus it's on wheels!!! We later covered the garage door with a mesh screen to keep the bugs out with the door wide open for maximum ventilation. Well worth the money!!!
