This was as advertised, a 120 volt wall mounted heater. It works with a separately purchased thermostat.

20 year replacement

This heater replaced a 20 year old unit that was extremely noisy. This unit is whisper quiet and nicely heating a dining and living area in my condo. It was relatively easy to install.

Easy to install. Way too noisy. Fan RPM is too fast. And there needs to be a sound rating in sones on ALL heaters. We have to purchase and install it before realizing we've been had on the noise output thus wasting our money.

Screwed right in.

Works fine. Screwed right in to the original mount. Remind new owners to clean out the dust bunnies from the heating element onece a year. That's why the old one failed.

The heater looked like a new unit other than one scratch on the metal box that is mounter inside of the wall that you can't see once installed anyway. When running I could hardly hear it running, it was very quiet. I put this in my camper so I could use it to heat it on cold nights rather than burn up propane. Using a line voltage thermostat I installed it next to the old heater. On a warm day it would not be much of a test, but at 18 degrees out side I went out and turned the thermostat up.In just a few minutes I was able to take off my jacket and it was pleasant. A few minutes later it was 70. Over the years I have put many of these types of heaters in rooms for people and this looked as good, and operated as well as any "Brand New" heater I've put in before. One of these will be going in our master bath soon. Remember this unit does not have a thermostat built in, you will need to add your own. To me that was a plus.

Good solid choice at a very reasonable price

These are affordable built-in heaters that perform as expected. I use an external wall mount thermostat to reduce the frequency of the heater cycling on and off. Its in an outbuilding and prevents freezing, which was its intended purpose. Nothing fancy but more dependable than a milkhouse type plug in heater. It should last for many years based on others I have. I put several in rental homes a number of yers back and have had no issues with any of them. Great replacements for old baseboard heaters. These are solid heaters and a good deal at the retail price- this refurbished heater looked like new and was considerably less money. It appears to be new. There is no discoloration, the wire ends needed to be stripped of insulation, the fan motor felt new.

I had bought 2 of these heaters thinking the first one would not work. Both of them worked so I put 1 in my camper I'm making gasless. I love the way it heats fast.

Heater Installation

The heater was exactly what I needed. The problem was that it did not come with a switch or thermostat. We had to go back 3 times to find the right thermostat, and I still don't think it works right. However, the actual item we bought was fine.
