Great fit easy installation

Use these all the time. Work great, very cost affordable

Product was easy to install and works very well. It is not completely quiet, but is much more quiet than the one that was replaced. Installed it about 3 weeks ago and pleasantly satisfied so far.

This model is easy to replace or repair, because a replacement fan motor is readily available. Very convenient and cost-effective for rental units.

Got this to replace one that died. The only difference that I'm seeing is this one seems to be a little louder so to speak, but still a very good fan.

It's okay, I guess. Previous fan had been carried along for about ten years, but finally got to the point where no amount of WD40 would help the noise. Nice to see some makes/models remain the same over time, unlike some Walton-owned Marts which totally change designs every couple of years; was very easy to exchange old "guts" with the new and didn't have to open the ceiling to replace entire box kit.

A simple vent fan that does the job, replacing the old one in my house!

Works well, easy to install but louder than I expected.

It fit ceiling hole and electrical connection of its 42 year old predecessor! Quieter, too.

This company is incredible. I was able to change our my fan in one step the 23 year old ceiling box was the same as this new one! It snapped right in after I cleaned the old box out. And I just plugged it in the built in outlet, in the same box! Thanks Broan for keeping the same box design! And thanks Home Depot for carrying them!

Motor malfunction returning today

Replaces the Broan 57N2, but it's louder.

Replaces the Broan 57N2, but the Broan website won't tell you this. There is, unfortunately, no cross reference to the 57N2. The motor seems good, but the unit is louder because the new fan blade is made of thin black plastic and there are spaces between the blades causing turbulence and therefore more whistling air noise. Slide the better-quality white blade off the old unit and replace the new black one. Doing that quiets this new unit down. The old grate seems a little quieter as well.

The exhaust fan type is 696N-R02B unit. I bought this mount fan to replace the old broken one. Simply removed the old motor and fan, and installed the new one. And I didn’t remove the frame and rewire. It fits. Perfect.
