DO NOT BUY!!!!

This product came without the hardware. Lowe's advises me to either contact the manufacturer or wait until it gets picked up. I paid a contractor to install it and now they have nothing to install. They cannot bring the hardware because the whole thing needs to be replaced. All of a sudden, the burden is on the customer after paying the product with missing parts. I am being pass around and nothing they can do. VERY FRUSTRATING! NO QUALITY CHECK PRIOR TO DELIVERY?

Minimum 2 people to install and plan on all day

It looks very nice; however, assembly was not the easiest, lots of pieces, it took 3 people and a full day to install, instructions were not the greatest either. I'm also not really happy with the small plastic runner at the center of the threshold that the glass doors slide through (maybe 3 inches wide), each side of the door is not very sturdy due to the heavy weight, and they wobble, it would be much better if the threshold runner was at least half the width of both doors, if not the full width for better stability.

The doors are beautiful

The shower doors are beautiful but you shipped the frame to one style door and glass doors to another style door in one box. My contractor was able to fabricate the frame to work with the glass doors but the handles were not the ones for the door. My contractor called your customer service who stated would be sending the towel bar handles to fit the holes in the glass doors. Now I wait to see how long before I get the handles. The door will be beautiful once they are received.

These frosted shower doors definitely have a bluish green tint to them that is not shown in the pictures online. I really wish they didn’t have this tint, but it is something people should be aware of.

Wrong door in package

I ordered this model a few months back, didn’t get around to installing it until recently and come to find that there are holes for a horizontal bar on the inside door, the outside door has no holes and the packaging came with the four adhesive handles. Clearly the interior door is incorrect and should have been solid. Home Depot’s customer service was great but unfortunately I have to contact Kohler for missing parts. Sadly I experienced this on the weekend and kohler is closed..

Love the esthetics of this, however, if you don't have/want to take the time to properly care for these doors then get something else. I purchased Rain-X shower door repellant and a rubber shower squeegee and each time the shower is used the doors are squeegeed! Also, there is a small gap at each end so be aware as you are rinsing or showering because it will get in the floor and on the base boards. After all, this is a frameless door so keep that in mind while deciding your purchase. This is for our guest bath so it isn't' that big of deal, just wanted to pass along the info.

Cheaply made and poorly designed

Kohler should be ashamed to sell this cheap junk.

Shower door was a little complicated to install, however this was partially due to this being the first time my installer and I installed this brand and style door. It was also due to the instructions and sequencing. I strongly recommend reading through the entire installation book before beginning the install. Additionally, plan on allowing time at the beginning of the install to allow the silicon sealant on the floor rail to set. I would have also preferred better handles and attachment for the handles. All and all, a good shower door with a couple of issues.

Door is beautiful but very bad designed. It split water in anyway you close the doors.

Installed over tub in room with 9’ ceiling. Install was simple, everything works nice and looks great. I love this Levity product. I have installed 2 of these units and they really make a difference on the shower. Ideally I prefer the 3/8” glass but the 1/4” is satisfactory. This unit does not have towel bars…it has handles and I like the more open look here vs. towels slung over the bars. I have 2 more showers to complete and Levity doors will be on those as well, nice product.

The shower door looks great! It doesn’t take away from the beauty of our newly installed walk in shower. It actually compliments the design of our gorgeous tiles and bronze fixtures! Even my wife was pleasantly surprised! She was opposed to having a door installed for fear of taking away from the elegant look of the shower! We absolutely love it! The perfect choice!

Flimsy

This is about the Kohler Levity bypass shower door. Aside from the fact it came damaged, had broken parts and bent tracks, it has excess paint in the track for the inside glass that made it roll less smooth in that area. It didn't come with handles even though it shows handles in the picture. Glass isn't even drilled for handles. The worst part is that when the door is closed, the bottom corners that hit the stops have no support at all. I would NOT use this if you have kids.

Beautiful doors

The shower doors are beautiful. They are constructed well and the finishing touch needed for my renovated bathroom. My biggest problem was finding the doors themselves in matte black. I had ordered the doors from other suppliers twice and on the due delivery dates received a message that the doors were delayed,no expected delivery date due to supply issues. I fould Build,called them on a Wednesday and Friday morning had my doors delivered! The price was good as well.

Horrible Not Water Resistant

I am considering filing a lawsuit against Kohler for false advertisement. This door is not water resistant! It's worse than our doors that aren't water resistant. Even after one shower it looks horrible. I literally have to take a big car shammy and wipe it down after each use or it looks hideous. Kohler will suggest that I call customer service. It takes an hour or longer to get through to them. And the door is already installed. Not much can be done about that now. I should have not trusted them. This is what it looks like after one shower. And that's been rinsed off with the shower head.

I needed a shower door that was tall enough for my 6‘3“ husband to step through without ducking his head. Quite a few of these frameless showers have a top bar which is too short. This one happened to be tall enough and had thicker glass with the clean coat technology. The price was almost half the price of a custom glass shower door system, and the quality was identical. We have yet to install it in our new construction home.

Water resistant failure

This door looks nice. The water resistant feature is non-existent. Our shower doors that are not water resistant look much better after a shower than this one does. If you're not planning to wipe it down dry after every single shower, do not get this door. After just one shower, it looks absolutely horrible. Kohler has even replaced the doors. Kohler's customer service has been exceptional. Also, I have had three different handymen try to install the safety clip. All three are very experienced workman. One of them spent an hour watching and rewatching the video. But the safety clip will still not stay on. On a separate issue that concerns Lowe's, the door was sold to me with Lowe's handyman being available for installation. However, Lowe's had no one that could install the door. It was not a scheduling issue. They literally had no one working for them or with them that could install the door.

Loved the look

The door is beautiful. Very modem and sleek look. We chose the one with black hardware. Installation took about 3 hrs. We paid a professional installer so couldn’t say if it was easy or not. The bottom trim comes long enough to be cut to the exact measure if needed. The only thing I did not like is that in the picture and product details the handles are described as screwed to the glass when in reality they are a couple of plastic handles that you glue from a peel and stick bar. That took down the quality rating for us. Other than that we are very pleased with the result. We haven’t tried it with the shower running and so can’t say much about water getting out at the bottom.

Got the 82 inch taller doors due to being 6ft5, had a local carpenter install the shower and these doors as the last part. Expensive for just shower doors and tracking, however, due to not finding this tall shower door anywhere else, went with Wayfair so pleased they could get this. Doors roll nice and smoothly, like the bumper guards on each end to prevent smashing at end of tracking. Enough overlap on a 60 inch shower to prevent water splatting out on the floor between the doors. squeegee the shower and doors after each use so not sure how they would do if I don't do this for spots, but only takes an extra minute to squeegee after each use. Didn't think the handles (put on with adhesive by the carpenter) would stay but so far so good (1 week of using). Got the nickel finish as strainless steel was out of stock but actually thankful to have this option as it matches the nickel shower head and nickel sink faucet. Note: if getting items for a bathroom, I learned from this project to look for fixtures with fingerprint resistant finish, as wowzers, it makes it far easier to keep spot reduced/free vs the prior chrome finish fixtures I had. Had an issue on pricing concerns, logistics, but a wayfair supervisor/manager was able to help resolve, so based on good customer service, would consider ordering from them again.

This is a good looking product, was relatively easy to install even for a DIY hack like myself. This was one of the better installation manuals I've seen on ANYTHING in years. Clear, concise and accurate.
