the product is good. the return policy SUCKS!!

I tried to return this product. it was too small a unit for the room. They said I could not return it because was not in the original box. We recycle, so shortly after I took the unit out of the box, the wife tore it apart. NO WHERE does it say in the return policy it has to be new and in the box.

Well, I haven’t used it yet but it looks very nice. It’s been cold weather but now it’s warming up so I should have it in a couple weeks. Looks real good. I hope it works good thank you

Works ok, 5k BTU is what you get...

I have had the a.c. for a few months and use it nightly in the Texas heat. It is cool enough for the price but as the temperatures go up outside, it seems the smallish ac struggles to keep cool in fact, can sometimes feel more like a regular fan. Overall, I am satisfied with the product...just don't expect it to work like the higher BTU units and you're good!!

Works great

We have a large room that is not connected to the house AC and this keeps it very comfortable. Works so good that we bought two more for the house in hopes that we don't need the AC next year.

Unit appears to be well constructed. all wearable surfaces are painted. Blows cold air life saver in the humidity of the South.

Good Basic Air Conditioner

This is a good basic window air conditioner. It cools off our 11 x 14 room quickly. It's not too loud as far as window air conditioners go. It has a basic thermostat numbered 1-10 that turns the compressor on and off automatically. The fan runs continuously when the unit is powered on. We have the fan set to low and the thermostat set it to 6.5 or 7 in our room and it keeps it quite comfortable. Note, it does not have a timer like Lowes specs say. Overall though a good product for the price.

The reason for 4 stars in Overall Satisfaction is the unit was to replace an older model, and one of the dimensions is bigger (the length, front to back), causing the need for modifications during installation. However, this is not a problem with the actual functioning of the unit. This was the best price I could find online, and LG is very reputable for quality.

No thermostat/timer even though product says yes

Air conditioner works ok so far as cooling goes, but the description in Lowes online display says thermostat and timer on the device. It has neither.

Wrong fit

Unfortunately, this unit did not fit in my window. The measurements are accurate but my window was not double-hung, which was required for this unit to fit securely in the window frame.

LG air conditioners are top of the line to me

Great air conditioner. have a couple of ceiling fans and the entire downstairs is cool.
