Got this for my wife because she started using a French press. This little tea pot kicks ass. I use it to make iced tea mostly & it's super fast. I'm completely done making the tea in like 7 minutes. This kettle is super fast. Way faster than a microwave or burner. The app lets you tweak & schedule just about any way you'd like. The notification is a plus if you've scheduled a pot or walked away for a brief minute & forgotten (although it's so fast I find that unlikely). The settings & app are well thought out & very easy to use with presets & a DIY preset to make things even easier. I love the gooseneck. Makes pouring very safe & smooth. My only wish would be a bigger pot, which it looks like there's an updated version that's a bit bigger & probably has even better features. It would be tough to top this little guy though. We had it for over a year & it's used often with 0 issues. We absolutely love this tea pot!

WOW!

This is a great pot. I have been researching and trying out different electric kettles and this was the best by far. Water starts with little bubble in about 70 seconds and full boil after about 1 minute 50seconds. Only thing I worry about is the spout which while beautiful looks not a stout as I would wish but it still looks sturdy so we will see how it holds up. But no smell given off by it and no metallic taste.

I love the Fellow products as much as the next person, but after reading some concerning reviews, I ended up going with this one. I have been greatly satisfied with this kettle, and the features are everything I could ask for. I have not even implemented the app and smart features that it provides yet, mostly due to the inconvenience of using it compared to just a button press. This being said, no, you cannot fine tune the temperature on the actual apparatus itself, but the presets are all I could ever ask for. The keep warm feature is also great, especially if I walk away for a minute. I mainly use this for my coffee purposes, in which I make in various forms - Aeropress, Chemex, french press, even instant coffee in rare occasions. The pour is clean, and instantaneous, and allows a nice distribution for a good bloom phase. I wouldn't call myself a coffee snob by any means, but I would say I care more about the art of making a good cup more than the average drinker, and this exceeds my expectations.
