Really happy with my new Cuisinart electric kettle
Very happy with this purchase! Build quality, ease of use, easy to keep clean. Nice stainless finish. Easily accessible spout filter. Very clear, external capacity gauge. Attractive addition to the countertop. Reaches full boil quickly, then shuts off. I have several other Cuisinart appliances, and have always been more than just "satisfied". I feel safe in recommending it highly.!!
Great basic kettle
I purchased this kettle to replace an identical electric kettle that I used multiple times a day over several years. I like that it is a basic kettle without bells and whistles. It keeps water warm if I don't use it immediately. My original one died but it took many years of use so I must like this model if I ordered it again.
I bought this to replace an older, different brand, teakettle that was on its way out. So far I like it; heats the water quickly, and I like the lighted water gauge. My only drawback is that it’s heavier than my old kettle, and thus a little more difficult to handle with arthritic wrists.
Love this purchase
You'll be pleased with the ease and luxury of this compared to using the stove every time you want hot water. I also like the size, weight, and shape compared to other electric kettles I considered buying.
Cheaply made, not up to Cuisinart standards
This electric kettle feels cheaply made, not up to Cuisinart standards. The lid does not open all the way when the button is pushed so I need to manually open the lid in order to fill this kettle.
Nice, but expensive
So far so good! I do feel like for the price it can be a bit fancier. This is my 3rd electric kettle and I'm hoping it doesn't die. I'm hopefully that the brand name will make a difference.
Broken switch
This is my second hot water kettle from cuisinart. The little plastic on/off switch broke off after 5 years on my first one. I hope this one lasts longer!
[Rewarded Review] Good Kettle- does the job.
I really like this kettle. I have to get a new one about every 12-18months. This is does the job of boiling water for tea without flashing lights and beeps.
Electric tea kettle
The first kettle worked for about 3 months & then started having problems with button you push down to turn it on. It would not work for a little while then stop working. It then stopped working all together & since it was still on warranty I called Customer Service. & they had me cut off cord on old one, send in a pic & I received a new one within 10 days. Customer service was very good. So far the new one is working well & hopefully it stays that way.
That tea pot is best of the best! The quality of this kettle is very different from ordinary kettles. Although I always chose only well-known, reputable brands. This kettle is very pleasant to the touch, its buttons are pleasant to press. I see that the brand did not skimp on materials. Important points for me: heats the water very quickly, works quietly, beeps quietly when it emits a shutdown signal. Silence is so important when your baby is sleeping! This kettle also does not have any plastic smell. It's quite environmentally friendly. There is temperature control. This is also important because different teas require different temperatures: green, white, black, pu-erh. In addition, there is a keep warm function. We use it when guests come to us and we need to be able to fill our cups with fresh aromatic tea at any moment of our friendly communication.
Best Kettle when all you need is a boil
One of the best kettles out there. If you do not need the multiple temperature adjustments of this kettle's big brother, then this is the kettle for you. It heats up quickly to a boil and stays hot for a good amount of time.
Design is a bit awkward to use comfortably.
The structural design has few awkwardly handled designs to it. The balance of the weight of it creates oddities to the use of it.
The best electric cordless kettle!
I was in need of a new kettle & referred to "Wired" an NYT daily newsletter reporting on the best cordless electric kettles. The Cuiisinart Cordless Electric Kettle rated the best over several other popular brands by "Wired". The kettle is very efficient and fast. Also, it looks nice on my counter. I have other Cuisinart products; they are very reliable; I recommend Cuisinart!
Sad to say.
I'm a big fan of Cuisinart but they dropped the ball on this one. It's sloppy to fill it does not pour with any precision and it seems to turn itself on all by itself. I had better luck with the $30 one I picked up at a big box store.
A great kitchen appliance for tea drinking & more.
This electric tea kettle has just what I need to boil water quickly and safely. Its attractive stainless steel appearance looks great in my kitchen and the automatic shut off is an important feature I was adamant about getting. You can use it to boil water of course for tea but also for hot cereals and other instant foods. The kettle itself can be lifted from the heating base and there’s a handy button to use to flip open the top for refilling. There aren’t a lot of bells and whistles but that’s ok bc it does just what I need it to in an easy to use manner.
Solid stainless steel top
Love our new Cuisinart Cordless Electric Tea Kettle. Our last few have had a glass top and ends up cracking. This one has a solid stainless steel top so we have high hopes for a long life.
Excellent electric kettle
This is the best electric kettle I have used. I have used kettles from 3 other brands over the past few years and this one is superior to all of them. It takes about 7 minutes to boil 1.5 litres from refrigerated water, has good safety features, and is easy to keep clean. The spout design is great, the heated water pours easily into my teapot with NO drips. Well worth the price.
Safety shutoff malfunction
The safety shutoff feature stopped working after approximately 9 months of light use. This was past the warranty period and therefore not covered. I don’t expect small appliances to last forever, but this was disappointing. Otherwise it is a good size kettle and I liked the ergonomics.
Hot Water in a Jiffy
My first time owning an electric tea kettle and the Cuisinart cordless was an excellent choice. It has classic good looks, with great options for finished water temperatures, and it comes to temperature very quickly. The feature to keep the water hot for thirty minutes is extra nice. I’ve enjoyed using it and would recommend it to anyone.
Attractive and efficient cordless tea kettle.
This is my first cordless tea kettle and it works great! Heats water quickly and shuts off when ready. Don’t mind it sitting out on my countertop.
