Great AC

We have had this unit for about 6-7months now and love it. installing the window part was a bit bothersome, but once that was done, its been working great. we use it pretty much daily, for cooling in the summer and heating in the winter, and it has worked perfectly so far, very satisfied. I tried to get in touch with CS at the beginning though about the window install and a rebate and CS is non-existant, good thing I bought the extended warranty through walmart too

Very happy with my purchase. Portable air conditioner works well.

Only worked for one year. Bought from Amazon. Warranty only for 3 months. Manufacturer wouldn’t do anything and neither would Amazon. Going to buy one through Walmart now. They have decent priced warranty for 4 years! Going with a different brand this time too.

Gets the Job Done

Very powerful and versatile means of controlling indoor air quality in the Deep South, which is essential to addressing the prevalence of toxic mold indoors. So far, even the heater I tried out very briefly works well. Eliminates an enormous amount of water indoors this time of year in the Deep South, which helps keep mold at bay.

Setup was easy. Works great it quickly cools the room down and removes humidity. Had to hook up the drain tube and have a drain bucket.

While we've had no issues with the product's performance so far, the exhaust tube and window attachment could be made a bit better. It's nearly impossible to connect in a way that it doesn't fall out and the instructions don't actually help at all. There must be a better way to do this.

I had a problem with the heater portion not working so I contacted the manufacturer. They cooperated with me and I was sent a replacement.im pleased with the unit and a company that backs up their products.

The Slacht128 arrived last night ( 2days later than original delivery date). Opened and power the unit this morning. Just had it for 2 hours so the review might not be very accurate but so far... Easy to operate but still trying to figure out how the timer works. A little noisier than I expected but hopefully will get used to it. Like the slick look.

Double Your Pleasure

Just bought this unit SLACHT128 on Ebay last week (01-09237-12099) and started using two days ago. No issues yet. I bought it's little sister the SLACHT108 10000 btu model six (6) weeks ago and was able to test the heat function this month when it was in the 40s outside. so impressed with the heat function I ordered this higher btu model. So far Ive been able to ditch mult floor space heaters and just use the one of these to maintain approx 2/3 of my downstairs (1000sf) at 72 degrees. With this second one downstairs I'm expecting to be able to use as primary heat for 3000sf since heat rises upstairs. This is also a year where I want electric heat and not rely on expensive natural gas furnace for heat

Nice little AC. Easier than wall unit. Just make sure you put clear tube in for water or you may have a little puddle.

Serene Life beats Frigidaire

Here is a review for you! There was a mix up here at home and my brother also bought a portable AC Unit (Frigidaire 10,000 BTUs). I already had Serene Life set up but just to be fair we tried both. Serene Life blows Frigidaire out of the water! Not only was the flow of cold air stronger, it cooled the whole living room/kitchen down in about half an hour. The other unit had a weaker current and I never fully felt like it cooled down the house. Also the remote works very well with the unit. You do not need to point Exactly at the unit to use the remote. All in all I am very satisfied.
