Came in handy during Midwest heatwave, only issue that it turns off randomly sometimes through the night which isn’t fun to wake up to. Hopefully came find a solution

I am extremely pleased with my portable air Black + Decker conditioner. It has performed consistently and effectively during this year's heatwave, keeping me cool and comfortable. It has been a lifesaver and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable cooling solution.

Does the job for a small space. Exhaust tube isn't super stable--would be better with a drop slot rather than trying to twist a flexible tube into place. Loud.

Highly recommend. Works great cools our living room 500sq ft. Love that it has a thermostat so shuts off when Temp. Is reached.

This item worked for a couple months good last season. Was stored properly for the winter and when we plugged it in yesterday the compressor won't work so it's an extremely expensive fan

Wayfair was the fastest shipping I found for this AC. It's my second B&D portable AC and it's as expected. The window mounting is different from my other one but it's okay.

I’ve had this for two weeks now and it’s been amazing! I have a fairly large living room for an apt, and it really does cool off the entire area. Def a good price compared to other models, too.

Easy to hook up, arrived in great condition, and blasts delightfully cold air into my cape cod upstairs that hates being cold lol. Total win!

Works well to cool my apartment. It's a bit noisy where I have to locate it. San Francisco windows nearly all open like doors making venting a major pain. I managed to do it but now that it's vented, it's vented for good.

4 stars only because we haven’t actually used it. Came nicely packaged and with all the parts. We did have to order a window kit because it was too big to fit with our windows and I worried about trimming it. Plugged it it and it worked but it will probably be next summer before I know how good it works.

I’m happy with this air conditioner. It is a great product, but the service offered by Wayfair was absolutely incredible. It arrived on time as promised with white gloves service.

Works well. Easy to assemble the window vent. I had to cut down the plastic window insert but that was a simple task. Cools my living room (23' X 9') to a comfortable level in the 103 degree weather. Great buy!

I returned two of them. Not sure what''s going on here, but, even though I followed the instructions and troubleshooting rigorously, I couldn't get it to blow cold air out more than 10/20 mins at the time; after that, whatever cooling mechanism shuts off and the air coming out is warm.

Doesn’t cool the room. Only shoots air up. You’d be better off with an air conditioner that points the air forward, not up. It is cold air, just not so good air flow.

I’ve had this item for 2 years and have never been happy with it. It is very loud, the hose is not functional, and it. does not cool off my small living room no matter how long it runs for. I am currently looking for a replacement.

Awful. Huge hose that had to be connect to the outside. Obtrusive and just ugly

Has worked very well in my living room, which is surprising because it’s open plan this thing definitely has some kick to it! Noise level did not wake my infant son when we had it in his room but it certainly does make a noise when it kicks on. It’s lasted 2 very hot summers for us now. Read the CA warning label.

Works great so far! We have a unique open floor plan house with high ceilings, but our sons room gets especially warm in the summer so we needed something to make him more comfortable. It does a great job cooling the room it’s in, and it also noticeably brings down the temp of the rooms around it (the rooms are connected by half walls and no doors, so I think it gets the cool air circulating pretty well). When we pair it with a fan, it’s even better. The provided window kit and hose work well despite our using it with a non-standard window. It’s definitely heavy and will take 2 people to move it to the basement for winter storage. Cools way better than the high-end swamp cooler we had been using (in southern CO so very dry), so it’s doing what we need it to do! Hoping to use it for several more summers.

not family friendly, takes up tons of space

Not space efficient!! takes up a LOAD of space. Connection to the window kit are loose and pop out easily. aka dont bump it at. all. I have 3 kids who monkey around and this is absolute heck to worry about. hoping the return process is fast.

I picked this AC unit because it was a known brand name, it was within my budget and mostly because it had the quickest shipping at that time. My old AC died in the middle of a heat wave and I don't do well in the heat. Well this AC did not disappoint! It was super easy to set up and my room was tolerable within the hour! By end of day my room was like walking into a fridge, just how i like it..... My room is a pretty good size master bedroom and we actually keep the door open at times to help cool down the living room. I have seen many positive reviews on this AC, not many negative ones. I've only had the AC for about a week but its so worth $339 so far! Also this AC is probably gonna be the best quality and highest BTU for the price. It's def a 10 outta 10 for me!
