My husband is thrilled with his new grill. We replaced our old Charbroil that was this same grill. I chose to get the same one as it was a wonderful grill for about 8 years!

While the grill heats up fast, once the lid is opened, it doesn't hold up the temperature at all, even when the burners are at max settings. So essentially, very tough to get steak seared. They cook very slowly and become rubbery. Even a burger is tough to cook with the lid open. Seems to be a result of the relatively weak burners. In order to overcome the issue, I have to do some tricks, but it just makes the process so much longer. Very frustrating. Temperature is also highly uneven. When cooking with the lid closed, some parts will have burnt items, while others will have uncooked food. With so many great features otherwise, I don't know why CharBroil would decide on such powerless burners. even the burners on their performance series are more powerful. I wanted to love this grill, but have been very disappointed.
